Ստեփանակերտում անցկացվել է լեգենդար օդաչու Նելսոն Ստեփանյանի ծննդյան 110-ամյակին նվիրված միջոցառում

Այսօր՝ մարտի 28-ին՝ Ստեփանակերտում տեղի է ունեցել քայլերթ Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի լեգենդար օդաչու, Խորհրդային Միության կրկնակի հերոս, ծննդով շուշեցի Նելսոն Ստեփանյանի ծննդյան 110-ամյակի առթիվ: «Արցախպրես»-ի թղթակցի հաղորդմամբ՝ քայլերթը կազմակերպել է Շուշիի Տեխնոլոգիական համալսարանը:
Դասախոսներն ու ուսանողները շարժվել են Նելսոն Ստեփանյանի անունը կրող պուրակ, որտեղ ծաղիկներ են խոնարհել նրա կիսանդրու պատվանդանին: Այնուհետև ներկայացվել է են նրա քաջագործություններն ու անցած ուղին:
«Շուշի քաղաքում ծնված Նելսոն Ստեփանյանը հայ ռազմական, տաղանդավոր գործիչների աստղաբույլում ունի իր ուրույն տեղը: Նրա սխրանքների մասին լեգենդներ են պատմել դեռևս կենդանության օրոք, իսկ հերոսական նահատակությունից հետո Նելսոն Ստեփանյանի անունը տասնամյակներ շարունակ ոգևորել ու ոգեշնչել է բազմաթիվ ռազմիկների, հրամանատարների, օդաչուների՝ նորանոր սխրանքներ գործելու համար: Նա Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի լեգենդար հերոսներից էր: Շուրջ 250 մարտական թռիչք է իրականացրել՝ ինչպես անհատապես, այնպես էլ իր գլխավորած ավիագնդի կազմով թշնամուն վիթխարի կորուստներ պատճառելով»,- ասել է պատմաբան Մհեր Հարությունյանը:
