Բարաք Օբաման քննադատել Է ԱՄՆ-ի զենքի շահապաշտպան խմբակցությանը

ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման հեռուստատեսային բանավեճերի ընթացքում քննադատել Է Միացյալ Նահանգների Հրաձիգների ազգային ասոցիացիային՝ երկրի զենքի ամենաազդեցիկ շահապաշտպան խմբակցություններից մեկին, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով BBC-ին:
Օբաման հայտարարել Է, որ Հրաձիգների ազգային ասոցիացիան իշխանություններին խանգարում Է պայքարելու զենքի օգտագործմամբ բռնության աճի դեմ: Ասոցիացիան, Օբամայի խոսքով՝ համերկրային կառավարությանն ու հենց իրեն մեղադրում Է այն բանում, թե իրենք իբր ցանկանում են առգրավել ամբողջ զենքը, ինչը թույլ կտա ռազմական դրություն սահմանել երկրում:
Օբաման պարզաբանել Է, որ պաշտպանում Է զենք ունենալու սահմանադրական իրավունքը, սակայն դրա տարածումը պետք Է սահմանափակ լինի՝ երկրում բռնության աճը զսպելու համար: Օբամայի խոսքով՝ ասոցիայիայի անդամները չեն ցանկանում երկխոսության մեջ մտնել իր հետ, թեեւ ինքը բազմիցս առաջարկել Է դա:
