Անվտանգության ոլորտում Ռուսաստանի և Հայաստանի համագործակցությունը մնում է երկու երկրների փոխգործակցության առանցքային ոլորտներից մեկը։  Armeniatoday-ին տված հարցազրույցում այս մասին ասել է Հայաստանում Ռուսաստանի դեսպան Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինը։

Կոպիրկինը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանը որևէ կերպ չի հրաժարվում այն պարտավորություններից, որ ունի երկու երկրների միջև համապատասխան համաձայնագրերով։ «Շարունակում է գործել 102-րդ ռազմաբազան, ավելացել է մեր սահմանապահների թիվը, դիտակետեր կան հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի հատվածներում։ Իհարկե, տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության ապահովման կարևոր գործոն է մեր խաղաղապահ զորախումբը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում։ Ցավոք, ժամանակ առ ժամանակ զորախմբի հասցեին հնչում են քննադատական ​​արտահայտություններ, սակայն դա չի չեղարկում այն ​​փաստը, որ սա առանցքային գործոն է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հայ բնակչության անվտանգության և ապրելակերպի ապահովման գործում։ Անգամ հիմա, երբ միջանցքը փակ է, խաղաղապահները շատ կարևոր դեր են խաղում հումանիտար ճգնաժամը կանխելու, այնտեղ կենսապահովման պարագաների և սննդի առաքման հարցում օժանդակելու հարցում։ Կարելի է ինչ-որ պահանջներ հայտնել Ռուսաստանի դեմ, ռուսական խաղաղապահ կոնտինգենտի դեմ, բայց այն, որ ռուսական ներկայությունը եղել և մնում է անվտանգության և իրավիճակի սրումը կանխելու շատ կարևոր գործոն, դա, իմ կարծիքով, չի պահանջում ապացույցներ»,- ասել է Կոպիրկինը։

Անդրադառնալով երկու երկրների միջև ռազմատեխնիկական համագործակցության մասին հարցին՝ Կոպիրկինն ընդգծել է, որ դա զգայուն և ոչ հրապարակային ոլորտ է։ «Այն ավանդաբար եղել և մնում է մեր երկկողմ հարաբերությունների կարևոր մաս: Գործում են համապատասխան մեխանիզմներ այս ոլորտում փոխգործակցությունն ապահովելու համար: Ինչ վերաբերում է համատեղ զորավարժություններին, ապա, ընդհանուր առմամբ, սա «ժամացույցի ստուգման» ձև է՝ կապված ռազմական գործողությունների պլանավորման և միացյալ զինված ուժերի կիրառման հետ։ Սա բավականին սովորական գործընթաց է, որը տեղի է ունենում տարբեր մակարդակներում, և, որքան գիտեմ, հայկական ստորաբաժանումներն ու մասնագետները պարբերաբար մասնակցում են նման միջոցառումներին»,- ասել է դեսպանը։

Նա հավելել է, որ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում  գործում է ռուսական ռազմաբազան, գործում է միացյալ զորքերի խումբ, և, բնականաբար, դա ենթադրում է համատեղ միջոցառումներ, վարժանքներ բավականին կանոնավոր հիմունքներով։ «Ավելացնեմ, որ երբ խոսում ենք ռազմատեխնիկական համագործակցության, համատեղ վարժանքների մասին, դա դիտարկում ենք որպես Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անվտանգության ապահովման գործոն և տարածաշրջանում անվտանգության պահպանման և ամրապնդման մեր ընդհանուր ջանքերի բաղկացուցիչ մաս»,- ասել է Սերգեյ Կոպիրկինը։
