Ապրիլի 8-ին՝ Ավագ շաբաթ օրը երեկոյան, մեր Տեր և Փրկիչ Հիսուս Քրիստոսի Հրաշափառ Սուրբ Հարության տոնի առիթով, Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի առաջնորդությամբ Մայր Աթոռի միաբանությունը Ճրագալույցի Սուրբ Պատարագին մասնակցեց Սուրբ Գայանե վանքում: Պատարագիչն էր Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի դիվանապետ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Արշակ արքեպիսկոպոս Խաչատրյանը:

Մինչ Սուրբ Պատարագը կատարվեց Ճաշու երրորդ ժամերգությունը, ապա կարդացվեցին սուրբգրային ընթերցվածքներ, որից հետո Մայր Աթոռի չորս միաբան սարկավագներ ընթերցեցին Դանիել մարգարեի թուղթը:

Արշակ Սրբազանը, իր քարոզում անդրադառնալով Հարության խորհրդին, ի մասնավորի նշեց. «Շուրջ երկու հազար տարիներ քրիստոնյաներս Հիսուսի հետ անցնում ենք տառապանքի ճանապարհը, վերապրում Նրա Չարչարանքները, խաչելությունն ու մահը և մասնակից դառնում Հարության ուրախությանը:

Շատերը փորձեցին կասկածի տակ առնել մարդկության պատմության մեջ երբևիցե տեղի ունեցած խոշորագույն այս իրադարձության, այս հրաշքի վավերականությունը՝ այն մղելով առասպելաբանության դաշտ։ Քրիստոսի Հարության պատմականության ժխտման փորձերը, սակայն, դատապարտվել են ձախողման, դատապարտվել են պատմական ու հնագիտական ժամանակակից հայտնագործությունների ու տվյալների անհաղթահարելի ուժով»:

Պատարագիչ Սրբազանն ընդգծեց նաև, որ Քրիստոսի Հարության հրաշքը բացահայտում է մարդկային կյանքի նպատակը, հարություն առնելու հույս է պարգևում ամենքին, վերափոխում մահախուճապ դեգերումները:

«Քրիստոսի Հարության հանդեպ հավատքով մարդկային կյանքը դադարում է լինել ծնունդից մինչև մահ ձգվող մի ժամանակամիջոց, Քրիստոսի Հարությամբ երկրավոր կյանքը դառնում է պատվանդանը հավիտենական կյանքի: Այս պատճառով է, որ Քրիստոսի Հարությանը հավատացողները նայում են անդին քան զմահն է, անդին, ուր ձգվում է հավիտենական կյանքը»,-ասաց Սրբազանը՝ հավելելով, որ Քրիստոսի Հարությունը փոխում է մեր կենսակեպն ու հայացքները:

«Քրիստոսի Հարությունն աշխատանքը վերածում է օրհնության և ոչ միջոց այլոց կեղեքման, նվաստացման և սեփական ագահության բավարարման: Քրիստոսի Հարությանը հավատացողները հայրենիքը չեն դիտարկում սոսկ որպես բնակավայր, այլ ինքնության սրբազան մասունք, և աստվածսիրությունը միահյուսում են հայրենասիրությանը»,-նշեց Արշակ Սրբազանը:

Վերջում Սրբազան Հայրը հորդորեց հավատացյալ ժողովրդին գոտեպնդվել ու զորանալ, հեռացնել տագնապներն ու վախերը, քանզի հույս ունենք Հարության, խոստում ունենք Տիրոջից, որ անմահությունն է մեր ժառագությունը, վկայություն ունենք, որ խորտակված է մահվան զորությունը, պատգամ ունենք Տիրոջից, որ անիմաստ ու աննպատակ չէ մեր կյանքը։

Հավարտ Սուրբ Պատարագի՝ Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը բարձրացավ Սուրբ Խորան և Սուրբ Սեղանի կանթեղից վառեց Տեր Հիսուս Քրիստոսին խորհրդանշող կենսատու մոմը, որը բաշխվեց հավատացյալներին:

Պատարագի սրբազան արարողությունից հետո Մայր Աթոռի միաբանությունը մեկտեղվեց Վեհարանում, ուր, նախագահությամբ Հայոց Հովվապետի, կատարվեց Սուրբ Հարության տնօրհնեք:
