Ադրբեջանական զինվորականների կողմից Հայաստանի սահմանն անցնելու երեկվա միջադեպը լուրջ մտահոգությունների տեղիք է տալիս։ Այս մասին գրում է «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության նախագահ Մանե Թանդիլյանը։
«Նույնիսկ եթե հավատանք մոլորվելու պաշտոնական վարկածին, պարզապես անթույլատրելի է այն փաստը, որ ադրբեջանցին հայտնաբերվել է սահմանից 15֊20 կմ ներթափանցելուց հետո, այն էլ ոչ անվտանգության մարմինների կողմից։
Միևնույն ժամանակ, հարկ է արձանագրել, որ հայ-ադրբեջանական արևմտյան սահմանը 30 տարի է՝ փոփոխությունների չի ենթարկվել, և անվտանգության մասով խնդիրները պետք է ունենան գրեթե զրոյական ռիսկ։
Հայաստանի անվտանգության համակարգի խոցելիությունը լուրջ խնդիրներ է առաջացնում ոչ միայն սահմանի, այլ նաև արդեն նույնիսկ սահմանամերձ չհամարվող բնակավայրերի համար։
Իշխանությունների առաջնահերթությունները շարունակում են հեռու մնալ անվտանգության համակարգի մարտահրավերներից՝ այդպես էլ չամրագրելով խաղաղության հասնելու միակ բանաձևը՝ ուժեղ և կայուն անվտանգության համակարգ։
Հայաստանն ունի մեկ առաջնային խնդիր՝ անվտանգություն, և բոլոր քայլերի վերջնակետը պետք է ուղղված լինի անվտանգության հզոր համակարգի ստեղծմանը»։
