Ուրախ եմ ու հպարտ, որ Թուրքիայից ոսկե մեդալով եմ վերադառնում: Այս մասին «Զվարթնոց» օդանավակայանում դիմավորման ժամանակ լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց աշխարհի եւ Եվրոպայի կրկնակի չեմպիոն Արթուր Դավթյանը:
«Հենացատկում դժվար պայքար էր: Անգլիացի Ջեյք Ջարմանն իր ցատկը 4 տասնորդական ավելի բարձր կատարեց: Ինձ ոսկե մեդալ շնորհեց երկրորդ ցատկս, որը շատ հստակ էր: Իմ եւ անգլիացի մրցակցիս միավորների տարբերությունը չնչին էր, բայց ուրախ եմ, որ ոսկե մեդալ նվաճեցի: Դժվար էր, բայց հաջողությամբ արեցի այն, ինչ անում էի մարզումներին»,- ասաց նա։
Մարզիկը նշեց, որ մի փոքր լարվածություն կար այն առումով, որ Թուրքիայում էին մրցում։
«Իհարկե, մեզ շատ լավ ընդունեցին, ոչ մի խնդիր չկար, բայց, անկախ ամեն ինչից, մի փոքր զգացողությունը կար, որ Թուրքիայում ես: Ամեն դեպքում շատ ուրախ եմ, որ կարողացա մեր դրոշը բարձրացնել եւ հիմնը հնչեցնել: Այդքան էլ կապ չունի՝ Թուրքիայում ես, թե այլ երկրում, ուրախալի է այն փաստը, որ ամբողջ Եվրոպայում դու հաղթող ես։ Նժույգ թափերի բրոնզե մեդալի համար եւս շատ ուրախ եմ»,- ասաց Արթուր Դավթյանը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ ապրիլի 16-ին Արթուր Դավթյանի փառահեղ հաղթանակ տարավ Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում: Աշխարհի եւ Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնը փայլուն ցատկերով Անթալիայում հռցաչվեց Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն: Նրա պատվին հնչեց Հայաստանի հիմնը եւ բարձրացավ դրոշը: Արթուր Դավթյանը Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն էր դարձել նաեւ 2021 թվականին նժույգ թափեր վարժությունում:
