ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է Չեխիայի աջակցությունը Հայաստանի տարածքում՝ Ադրբեջանի հետ սահմանի երկայնքով ԵՄ երկարաժամկետ մոնիտորինգի առաքելություն տեղակայելու որոշմանը: Չեխիայի վարչապետի հետ հանդիպումից հետո հրավիրված ասուլիսում ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը նշեց, որ Չեխիայի իր գործընկերոջ հետ հանդիպմանը մանրամասն ներկայացրել է տարածաշրջանային իրավիճակը, անդրադարձել անվտանգային հարցերին։ Տեղեկացրել է, որ, չնայած բոլոր ջանքերին, իրավիճակը տարածաշրջանում շարունակում է մնալ լարված:
«Դրա պատճառն այն է, որ, չնայած հանրահայտ պայմանավորվածություններին, Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է ուժի եւ ուժի սպառնալիքի կիրառման քաղաքականությունը՝անընդհատ էսկալացնելով իրավիճակը Հայաստանի հետ սահմանին, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում եւ Լաչինի միջանցքում», ֊ասաց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է իրավիճակին հստակ եւ հասցեական գնահատական տա, մանավանդ, որ Ադրբեջանի ներկայիս գործողությունները Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հայերի էթնիկ զտումներ իրականացնելու նախապատրաստություններ են: ՀՀ վարչապետն ընդգծեց, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղ և Լաչինի միջանցք միջազգային փաստահավաք խմբի մուտքի ապահովումն անհրաժեշտ է:
Նա նաև հավելեց, որ, չնայած բոլոր դժվարություններին, Հայաստանի կառավարությունը որդեգրել է խաղաղության օրակարգը:
«Մենք կարծում ենք, որ խաղաղությունը մեր տարածաշրջանում այլընտրանք չունի։ Մենք լիարժեք ներգրավված ենք Ադրբեջանի հետ բանակցային գործընթացում և առաջիկայում էլ ներգրավված կմնանք՝ տրամադրված լինելով արդյունքներ գրանցել և ոչ թե բանակցել բանակցելու համար: Այս նպատակին հասնելու համար մենք հույս ունենք, որ Ադրբեջանը կհրաժարվի ուժի եւ ուժի սպառնալիքի կիրառման քաղաքականությունից»,֊ ասաց Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ հույս հայտնելով, որ միջազգային հանրությունը նույնպես Ադրբեջանին ուղղված նման ուղերձով հանդես կգա:
