Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանը մայիսի 9-ին ուղերձ է հղել Հաղթանակի տոնի, Արցախի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության բանակի եւ Շուշիի ազատագրման 31-րդ տարեդարձի առթիվ:
Ուղերձում ասված է.
«Սիրելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմի և Արցախյան ազատամարտի թանկագի՛ն վետերաններ,
Պաշտպանության բանակի հարգարժա՛ն գեներալներ, սպաներ, զինվորներ,
Մայիսի 9-ը հայ ժողովրդի պատմության ամենափառավոր ու պանծալի էջերից մեկն է: Հայրենական մեծ պատերազմում մյուս ժողովուրդների հետ միասին մեր պապերի տարած հաղթանակը, Արցախի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության բանակի կազմավորումը, Շուշիի ազատագրումը այն անուրանալի հաղթանակներն են, որոնք իրավամբ այդ օրը դարձրել են ազգային հպարտության խորհրդանիշ:
Ես ուզում եմ նախևառաջ գլուխ խոնարհել տարբեր ժամանակներում հայրենիքի պաշտպանության համար իրենց կյանքը զոհաբերած մեր բոլոր նահատակների սուրբ հիշատակի, ինչպես նաև կենդանի հերոսների վաստակի առջև: Նրանց սխրանքն ու քաջագործություններն անմահ են և միշտ կլինեն հայրենասիրության ու անձնվիրության վառ օրինակ հետագա սերունդների համար:
Այսօր Արցախը կրկին հայտնվել է գոյաբանական պայքարի կիզակետում: Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունների կողմից արդեն հինգ ամիս շարունակվող շրջափակումը նպատակ ունի հոգեբանական ու ֆիզիկական ճնշման միջոցով կոտրել մեր ժողովրդի կամքն ու պայքարի ոգին, անվտանգային սպառնալիքի տակ ստիպել լքել հազարամյակների պատմություն ունեցող մեր պապերի հողը կամ դառնալ հպատակ:
Թուրք-ադրբեջանական տանդեմի նկրտումները մեզ համար նորություն չեն: Մենք դա լավ գիտենք, ինչպես և լավ գիտենք հայ ժողովրդի միասնականության ուժն ու զորությունը, որը դրսևորվել է մեր պատմության ամենավճռորոշ շրջափուլերում:
Այսօր նորից համազգային միասնությունը դարձել է օրվա հրամայական: Մենք երկմտելու կամ ընկրկելու իրավունք չունենք: Ճանապարհը մեկն է. Արցախը եղել է, կա ու պետք է լինի հայկական՝ իր ժողովրդի ազատ կամքով և սեփական ճակատագիրը տնօրինելու իրավունքով ու վճռականությամբ: Այդ նպատակին պետք է ծառայեն բոլորիս ջանքերը՝ Արցախում, Հայաստանում և Սփյուռքում, պետք է նորից վերագտնենք ու փայփայենք հաղթական Եռատոնի խորհուրդն ու ոգին՝ որպես մեր կյանքի ուղենիշ:
