Բրյուսելում առաջիկա կիրակի նախատեսված Փաշինյան-Ալիև-Միշել հանդիպումը հնարավոր չէր լինի կազմակերպել, եթե կողմերը մինչ այդ առաջընթաց չունենային Վաշինգտոնում, այսօր «Ազատությանը» փոխանցեց Եվրամիության (ԵՄ) բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներից մեկը՝ անանուն մնալու պայմանով։
Ըստ այդ դիվանագետի՝ մայիսի 14-ին կայանալիք հանդիպումը Եվրամիության շարունակական դիվանագիտական ջանքերի, ինչպես նաև Միացյալ Նահանգներում տեղի ունեցած հաջող բանակցությունների արդյունքն է։
«Եթե վաշինգտոնյան հանդիպումը գոհացուցիչ չլիներ, դրանից հետո ևս մեկ քննարկում կազմակերպելն իմաստ չէր ունենա», - փոխանցում են եվրոպական աղբյուրները։
Բրյուսելի միջնորդությամբ հանդիպումները դադարել էին կես տարի առաջ․ վերջինը տեղի էր ունեցել անցած հոկտեմբերին Պրահայում, որտեղ Ալիև-Փաշինյան-Միշել եռյակին միացել էր նաև Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանյուել Մակրոնը։ Եվս մեկ՝ քառակողմ հանդիպում էլ նախատեսված էր անցած դեկտեմբերին, սակայն Ալիևը չեղարկեց այն՝ պնդելով, թե Փարիզը հակաադրբեջանական դիրքորոշում ունի և չի կարող չեզոք միջնորդ լինել։
Հայկական կողմն, իր հերթին, հայտարարել էր, թե ցանկանում է պահպանել Մակրոնի մասնակցությունը։ Տարաձայնությունը հարթելու համար Բրյուսելը անցած ամիսներին շարունակական շփման մեջ է եղել կողմերի հետ՝ փորձելով գտնել երկուստեք ընդունելի լուծում։ Ըստ դիվանագիտական աղբյուրների՝ այս հարցում որոշիչ է եղել Ֆրանսիայի արտգործնախարարի վերջին այցը տարածաշրջան, որը ցանկալի արդյունքը չի տվել՝ ակնհայտ դարձնելով, թե՛ կողմերի, թե՛ Փարիզի համար, որ պետք է գտնել փոխզիջումային տարբերակ։ Ըստ այդմ, Երևանը համաձայնել է նախ մեկ հանդիպում անցկացնել առանց Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի, մոտ երկու շաբաթից էլ շարունակել քննարկումը՝ Ֆրանսիայի նախագահի և Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցի մասնակցությամբ։ Ադրբեջանական աղբյուրները պնդում են, թե դա եղել է Բաքվի պայմանը՝ Մակրոնի միջնորդությանը համաձայնելու համար։
Կողմերը նաև համաձայնել են շարունակել եռակողմ հանդիպումները Բրյուսելում այնքան հաճախ, որքան անհրաժեշտ կլինի, երեկ հայտարարել էր Եվրամիությունը։
Առաջիկա հանդիպման մասին որոշ տեղեկություններ են հայտնի դարձել նաև ամերիկյան Pօlitico-ին։
«Մենք այդ հանդիպումը դիտարկում ենք որպես բրյուսելյան եռակողմ ձևաչափի վերսկսում և անցած շաբաթ Վաշինգտոնում տեղի ունեցած կարևոր և դրական քննարկումների շարունակություն»,- ասել են եվրոպացի դիվանագետները։
