Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանն ընդունել է Մանկական ուռուցքաբանության միջազգային միության նախագահ Գիլիերմո Շանտադայի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը, որը Հայաստան է ժամանել Մանկական ուռուցքաբանության միջազգային միության ասիական 15-րդ համաժողովի (SIOP Asia 2023 XV Congress) շրջանակում:
Հայաստանն առաջին անգամ է հյուրընկալել համաժողովը, որի նպատակն է համախմբել մանկական ուռուցքաբանության համաշխարհային հանրությանը՝ ներկայացնելու իրենց հետազոտությունները, պատկերացումները և մանկական քաղցկեղի բուժման լավագույն փորձն ամբողջ աշխարհում:
Նախագահը Խաչատուրյանը ողջունել է համաժողովի մասնակիցներին մեր երկրում և կարևորել նման միջոցառումների անցկացումը, որոնք հնարավորություն են տալիս խնդիրները խորքային քննարկել և միասնական քաղաքականություն մշակել: Նախագահը նշել է նաև, որ Հայաստանն առանձնահատուկ ուշադրություն է դարձնում առողջապահության ոլորտին:
«Մենք շատ ենք կարևորում այն, որ Մանկական ուռուցքաբանության միջազգային միության ասիական 15-րդ համաժողովն անցկացվում է Հայաստանում: Համոզված եմ, որ համաժողովի երեք օրերի ընթացքում կփորձեք նոր լուծումներ գտնել: Համակարգված աշխատանք է կատարվում նաև մեր մասնագետների կողմից, և մեր բոլորիս հիմնական նպատակն այն է, որ ոչ մի երեխա ուշադրությունից դուրս չմնա և հնարավորություն ունենա պատշաճ բժշկական օգնություն ստանալ: Հույս ունեմ, որ ձեր համագործակցությունը շարունակական է լինելու»,- ասել է նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը:
Գիլիերմո Շանտադան շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ընդունելության համար նշել է, որ շատ տպավորված է Հայաստան կատարած իր առաջին այցելությամբ: «Մեր միությունը համախմբում է ամբողջ աշխարհի շուրջ 3000 մասնագետների: Շատ հպարտ ենք այն աշխատանքի համար, որը կատարվում է Ասիայում, ինչպես նաև Հայաստանում: Այն իսկապես օրինակելի է: Շատ ուրախ ենք այստեղ լինելու համար»,- նշել է Մանկական ուռուցքաբանության միջազգային միության նախագահը:
