Մեկ տարի առաջ, երբ Փաշինյանը խոսում էր Արցախի հարցով նշաձողը իջեցնելու մասին, իշխանական պատգամավորներից ոմանք ջանասիրաբար ձայնակցում էին, հայտարարում, որ Արցախը կարող է ապագա ունենալ Ադրբեջանի կազմում։ Այս մասին ԱԺ-ում հայտարարությունների ժամին ասաց «Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցության քարտուղար Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը.
«Որոշներն էլ փորձում էին հանրությանը համոզել, որ իրենց ղեկավարի հայտարարությունների հիմքում Արցախի կամ ՀՀ-ի բնակավայրերի հանձնումը չէ։ Ոմանք իշխանության ներսում շարունակում էինք պնդել, որ հանձնման հարց օրակարգում չկա։ Երբ Փաշինյանը պարզ ու հստակ հայտարարում է, որ պատրաստ է ճանաչել Արցախը Ադրբեջանի կազմում, ապա ավելի վաղ էլ ասում, որ չի վիրավորվում, երբ իրեն դավաճան են ասում, իրավիճակը այլ բնույթ է ստանում»,- ասաց նա։
Դիմելով՝ իշխանական պատգամավորներին, Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը ընդգծեց․
«Իշխանական թիմի ցանկացած ներկայացուցիչ, պատգամավոր, նախարար պետք է հստակ ընտրություն կատարի․ մեկ բան է քաղաքական կոլեկտիվ պատասխանատվոթյան տակ մտնելը, մեկ այլ բան՝ անհատապես գիտակցելը, որ պատմության մեջ ես մտնում որպես անձ, ով իր համաձայնությւոնն է տվել Արցախի հանձնմանը։ Պետք է գիտակցեք , որ դուք կամ ձեզանից ոմանք դեռևս ընտրություն կատարելու հնարավորություն ունեն։
Հիշե՛ք ոստիկանությամբ, քննիչներով, դատախազներով, դատավորներով կամ ուղղակի գնդակահարությամբ միայն կարող եք ժամանակ ձգել, սակայն պատմությունը սրբագրելու կամ հանձնողի խարանը ջնջելու հնարավորություն չեք ունենալու։ Կանգնեք ու կանգնեցրեք ձեր այն առաջնորդին, ով ձեզ, հասարակությանը, բոլորին համոզում էր, որ Արցախը Հայաստան է և վերջ, նախընտրական արշավի հիմքում դնում էր Արցախի ինքնորոշման իրավունքը, սակայն այսօր ստում է բոլորիս՝ հայտարարելով, որ գնում Արցախն ու արցախցիներին դավաճանելու ճանապարհով, գործե՛ք քանի դեռ ուշ չէ, հակառակ դեպքում այս ծանր դատավճիռը անընդհատ հետապնդելու է ձեզ ու ձեր սերունդներին»։
