Եվրամիությունն այլևս կախված չէ ռուսական հանածո վառելիքից: Այս մասին Բրյուսելում կայացած ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ հայտարարել է Եվրահանձնաժողովի պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Թիմ Մաքֆին:

Նրա խոսքով, վերջին 12 ամիսների ընթացքում ԵՄ-ն ցույց է տվել, որ ունակ է դիմակայել Ռուսաստանին և էներգիայի աղբյուրները որպես զենք օգտագործելու նրա փորձերին։ «Ռուսական ածխի ներմուծումը ԵՄ դադարել է, նավթի ներմուծումը չնչին մասն է կազմում այն ամենի, ինչ եղել է պատերազմից առաջ, իսկ ռուսական գազն արագորեն անհետանում է ԵՄ շուկայից»,-նշել է Մաքֆին:

Այսպես, ռուսական խողովակաշարային գազի մատակարարումները պատմականորեն կազմել են Եվրամիության ներմուծման մոտ 45-50 տոկոսը՝ նախքան Ռուսաստանի լայնամասշտաբ ներխուժումն Ուկրաինա։ 2023 թվականի մարտին այդ ցուցանիշը նվազել է մինչև 8 տոկոս։ Եվրահանձնաժողովի ներկայացուցիչը պարզաբանել է, որ դա հնարավոր է դարձել երեք գործոնների շնորհիվ։ Այդ գործոններից մեկը վերականգնվող աղբյուրներից ստացվող էներգիան է. 2022 թվականին Եվրամիությունում 16 տոկոսով ավելի շատ հողմային և արևային էներգիա են արտադրել, քան մեկ տարի առաջ, ինչը թույլ է տվել փոխարինել 11 միլիարդ խորանարդ մետր ռուսական գազը, հայտնել են Բրյուսելում: Այս ուղղության հետագա զարգացման համար ԵՄ անդամ երկրները մուտք ունեն 270 միլիարդ եվրո արժողությամբ հիմնադրամ, որը ստեղծվել է՝ նպատակ ունենալով օգնել նրանց հրաժարվել ռուսական էներգակիրներից։

Արևային էներգիայի շեշտակի զարգացումը ԵՄ-ում հնարավորություն է տվել նվազեցնել կախվածությունը ոչ միայն Ռուսաստանի հանածո վառելիքից, այլև Չինաստանից, որը համարվում է Արևմուտքի ամենամեծ հակառակորդը։

Ըստ էության, եվրապաշտոնյան իր այս արձանագրումներն անելով վկայում է արևային էներգիայի ահռելի նշանակությունը ոչ միայն տնտեսական, այլև, առաջին հերթին, քաղաքական իմաստով։ Հենց արևն է, որ նպաստում է քաղաքական կապվածության թոթափմանը։ Իսկ մենք բազմիցս ենք փաստել արևային էներգիայի զարգացման կարևորությունը երկրների քաղաքական ինքնիշխանության համար։

Հայաստանում, ուր արևային վահանակներ արտադրող միայն մեկ ընկերություն կա՝ «Սոլարոնը», օդի պես անհրաժեշտ է արևային էներգիայի զարգացումը, ինչը մեր երկրին նույնպես կօգնի ձերբազատվել վառելիքի հետևանքով առաջացած քաղաքական կախվածությունից։
