Քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչ, «Համախմբում» շարժման խորհրդի անդամ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Այսօր լրանում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հռչակման 105-րդ տարեդարձը: 1918 թվականին, վիթխարի մարդկային և տարածքային կորուստներից հետո, հայ ժողովուրդը, փաստացի մենակ և առանց իրական դաշնակից, համախմբվելով կարողացավ հետ մղել թուրքական ագրեսիան, ջախջախել թուրքական բանակի կանոնավոր ստորաբաժանումները Սարդարապատի, Բաշ-Ապարանի և մասամբ նաև Ղարաքիլիսայի դաժան ճակատամարտերում, և վաստակած ու արժանապատիվ իրավունք ձեռք բերեց սեփական պետությունն ունենալու:
105 տարի առաջ մեր նախնիները, դիմագրավելով սովին, համաճարակներին, սպառազինության պակասին, պետության բացակայությանը՝ կռիվ տվեցին այդ պետությունը ստեղծելու և կայացնելու համար, իրենց հերոսական պայքարով ճանապարհ բացելով ապագա սերունդների համար: Այսօր մենք՝ իրենց սերունդները, պետք է ոգեշնչվենք մեր նախնիների օրինակով, պայքարենք մեր հայրենիքի յուրաքանչյուր քար ու թփի համար, ստեղծենք և արարենք՝ կառուցելու այն երկիրը, որն արժանի է իրենց սխրանքին:
Այսօր մենք պետք է համախմբենք մեր ուժերը՝ պաշտպանելու մեր երկրի սահմանները, պաշտպանելու Արցախը, պաշտպանելու մեր ազատությունն ու ինքնությունը: Մեր մեջի ազատասերն ու խիզախը պետք է հաղթի նյութապաշտին և թուլամորթին, աշխատասերը՝ ծույլին, կռվողը՝ դասալիքին, կրթվածը՝ տգետին, ազնիվը՝ սուտասանին: Մենք պետք է դուրս մղենք մեր մեջի վախը, անզիջում դիմադրենք թշնամուն, վստահ ձեռք մեկնենք բարեկամին, և վերգտնելով մեր ուժը, քայլ առ քայլ վերականգնենք մեր բնատուր ազգային իրավունքը:
Այսօր, մայիսյան հերոսամարտերից 105 տարի անց, ես ցանկանում եմ գլուխս խոնարհել նրանց բոլոր հերոսների առաջ, և շնորհավորել մեր ազգի պայքարող տեսակին, որի համար այս հերոսամարտերը մշտապես լինելու են փարոս արիության և արժանապատվության, և ոգեշնչելու են նոր նվաճումների: Շնորհավոր բոլորիս տոնը, քույրեր և եղբայրներ, Աստված պահապան մեր հայրենիքին և մեր պայքարող տեսակին:
