Թուրքիայի գործող նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը երկրում կայացած նախագահական ընտրությունների երկրորդ փուլում հաղթող է ճանաչվել։ Այս մասին կիրակի՝ մայիսի 28-ի երեկոյան, հայտարարել է Կենտրոնական ընտրական հանձնաժողովի ղեկավար Ահմեդ Յեները։

Քվեաթերթիկների 99,85 տոկոսը մշակելուց հետո Էրդողանը հավաքել է ձայների 52,16 տոկոսը։ Ընդդիմության թեկնածու Քեմալ Քըլըչդարօղլուն ունի 47,84 տոկոս։

Քըլըչդարօղլուն անուղղակիորեն ընդունել է իր պարտությունը՝ մտահոգություն հայտնելով, որ երկրին շատ մեծ խնդիրներ են սպասվում։ 

Ընտրություններից հետո իր առաջին ելույթում նա նշել է, որ շարունակելու է պայքարը հանուն ժողովրդավարության, մինչդեռ նրա կուսակիցները ուշ երեկոյան հավաքվել են Ժողովրդահանրապետական կուսակցության գլխավոր շտաբի մոտ և պահանջել Քըլըչդարօղլուի հրաժարականը։

Հավելենք, որ Էրդողանը երրորդ անգամ է ընտրվում նախագահ․ նա երկիրը ղեկավարում է 2014 թվականից։ Մայիսի 14-ին կայացած նախագահական ընտրությունների առաջին փուլում 69-ամյա Էրդողանը չկարողացավ հաղթահարել 50 տոկոսի շեմը․ նա ստացավ քվեարկածների 49,5%-ի աջակցությունը, իսկ 74-ամյա Քըլըչդարօղլուն հավաքեց ձայների 44,9%-ը։

Էրդողանին վերընտրվելու կապակցությամբ շնորհավորել են ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, ԱՄՆ-ի, Ֆրանսիայի, Ռուսաստանի, Ադրբեջանի, Ուկրաինայի, Ուզբեկստանի, Կատարի առաջնորդները, Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցը, ինչպես նաև Վրաստանի և Հունգարիայի վարչապետները։
