Հայ զինծառայողների առեւանգումը կատարվել է Շիկահողից 2-3 կմ հյուսիս-արեւելք․ «Հետք»

Ադրբեջանի կողմից հայ զինծառայողների ենթադրյալ առեւանգումը, ըստ «Հետքի» երեք աղբյուրների, տեղի է ունեցել Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան առաջնագծի հարավարեւելյան ուղղության Շիկահողի հատվածում, ավելի կոնկրետ, ինչպես նշել է աղբյուրներից մեկը, դեպքը գրանցվել է Ճակատեն եւ Շիկահող գյուղերի միջակայքում՝ Կռնասիխութ սարից ոչ շատ հեռու:
Ճակատեն-Շիկահող հատվածում հակամարտ զորքերի որոշ դիրքեր գտնվում են անտառապատ տեղամասերում, ինչը դիվերսիոն ներթափանցման ժամանակ քողարկման լավ հնարավորություն է ընձեռում:
Համայնքապետ Գ. Փարսյանը «Հետքի» հետ զրույցում հաստատել է, որ միջադեպը գրանցվել է Կապան խոշորացված համայնքի տարածքում, բայց հրաժարվել է որեւէ հստակեցում անել կոնկրետ տեղանքի վերաբերյալ: Հայկական լրատվամիջոցներում, սակայն, շրջանառվել է Կապանի կազմում ներառված Շիկահող գյուղի անունը: «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանը, օրինակ, հայտնել է, որ դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել այս գյուղից մի քանի կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա: Շիկահողցի Սամվել Աղաբեկյանը լրատվամիջոցին ասել է, որ այդ հատվածում ավելի բարձր տեղակայված հայկական դիրքեր կան, ու ենթադրել է, որ ադրբեջանցիները հաջողացրել են դարանակալել խիտ անտառում. «Խիտ անտառ ա, ճանապարհն էլ անտառի միջով գնում ա»։ Նկատենք, որ Ճակատեն, Շիկահող, Սրաշեն, Ներքին Հանդ ու Ծավ գյուղերի տարածքները շրջապատված են «Շիկահող» պետական արգելոցի անտառներով:
