Միացյալ Նահանգներն արդյունավետ հանդիպում է ակնկալում Քիշնևում Հայաստանի վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի միջև, հայտարարել է Պետդեպարտամենտի մամուլի ծառայության ղեկավար Մեթյու Միլլերը։
ԱՄՆ վարչակազմը գոհ է, որ «Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև բանակցությունները շարունակվում են», ասված է նրա տարածած գրավոր հայտարարությունում։
«Ինչպես հայտարարել էր պետքարտուղար Բլինքենը, Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղություն հնարավոր է։ Վերջերս մենք բարձր ենք գնահատել վարչապետ Փաշինյանի հավատարմությունը խաղաղությանը, և մենք ողջունում ենք նախագահ Ալիևի վերջին հայտարարությունները [Ղարաբաղի նկատմամբ] համաներում քննարկելու մասին»,- նշել է Միլլերը և շարունակել․ - «Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարներն այս շաբաթավերջին Քիշնևում կհանդիպեն մեր եվրոպացի գործընկերների հետ: Եվ մենք հուսով ենք, որ դա արդյունավետ քայլ կլինի բանակցությունների սեղանի շուրջ այս խնդիրները լուծելու ուղղությամբ, այլ ոչ թե բռնության կիրառմամբ»,-ասել է Միլլերը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ «ագրեսիվ հռետորաբանությունը կարող է հանգեցնել միայն անցյալի բռնության շարունակականության, կառուցողական երկխոսությունը՝ ինչպես հրապարակային, այնպես էլ փակ, կարող է ստեղծել խաղաղություն, հնարավորություններ և հույս»։
«Միացյալ Նահանգները պատրաստ է աջակցել երկու կողմերի ջանքերին՝ կայուն և արժանապատիվ խաղաղության համաձայնագիր կնքելու համար», - հավաստիացրել է Միլլերը։
Հիշեցնենք, որ օրերս Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևն Արցախի օկուպացված Բերձոր քաղաքում հայտարարել էր, որ «այսօր ոչ ոք չի խոսում Ղարաբաղի անկախության, ինքնավարության կամ որևէ այլ բանի մասին»:
«Վերջին ուղերձները, որ մենք ստանում ենք, հետևյալն են՝ ինչպիսի՞ն է լինելու նրանց «ղեկավարության» ճակատագիրը։ Արդյո՞ք նրանք համաներման իրավունք ունեն։ Իսկ ես ասում եմ՝ կտեսնենք», - ասել էր Ալիևը։
