Հուլիսի 4-ին ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանն ընդունել է ՀՀ-ում իր դիվանագիտական առաքելությունն ավարտող՝ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության դեսպան Աբբաս Բադախշան Զոհուրիին։
ԱԳ նախարար Միրզոյանը, նշելով, որ դեսպան Զոհուրիի պաշտոնավարման ժամանակահատվածը համընկել է է Հայաստանի համար խիստ բարդ շրջանի հետ, բարձր է գնահատել Հայաստանի և Իրանի միջև փոխըմբռնման ու հարաբերությունների խորացման գործում նրա կողմից ներդրված ջանքերը և հաջողություն մաղթել հետագա դիվանագիտական աշխատանքում:
Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են հայ-իրանական համագործակցության օրակարգային տարբեր հարցեր՝ երկուստեք գոհունակությամբ արձանագրելով երկու երկրների միջև քաղաքական երկխոսության բարձր մակարդակը: Ընդգծվել է, որ երկու երկրների փոխգործակցությունը բխում է ինչպես տարածաշրջանային մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու հրամայականից, այնպես էլ երկու ժողովուրդների միջև պատմականորեն ձևավորված բարեկամական կապերից:
Վերահաստատվել է բարձրաստիճան փոխայցելությունների և արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչությունների միջև պարբերական խորհրդակցությունների դրական դինամիկան պահպանելու պատրաստակամությունը: Կարևորվել են երկուստեք հետաքրքրություն ներկայացնող տնտեսական ծրագրերի իրականացմանն, երկկողմ առևտրի խթանման առկա ներուժի օգտագործմանն ուղղված քայլերը:
Անդրադարձ է կատարվել Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղության և կայունության հաստատման՝ երկու երկրների տեսլականին և այդ ուղղությամբ իրականացվող ջանքերին:
