Լիբանանում արևային վահանակների տեղադրման բում է, մարդիկ զանգվածաբար վահանակներ են տեղադրում իրենց տների կամ բիզնեսների տանիքներին, այդկերպ պայքարելով էներգետիկ ճգնաժամի դեմ։
Գործարարներից մեկը պատմում է, որ արևային վահանակների շնորհիվ իր ռեստորանն ողջ օրն ապահովված է անխափան էլեկտրաէներգիայով։ Լիբանանում տարեկան 300 օր արև է, ուստի նման որոշումը փրկություն է դարձել տնտեսական խորը ճգնաժամ ապրող երկրի համար։ Պետությունը կարողանում է օրական միայն մի քանի ժամ էլեկտրաէներգիա առաքել։
Վահանակներ տեղադրող ընկերություններն ավելացնում են աշխատակիցների թիվը, որպեսզի կարողանան ապահովել վահանակների տեղադրման պահանջարկը։
Արդեն մի քանի տարի Լիբանանը ցնցվում է քաղաքական և ֆինանսական ճգնաժամից, և արևային վահանակների տեղադրումն իրական փրկություն է հատկապես բիզնեսի համար։ Հայաստանն, իհարկե, Լիբանանից ավելի լավ վիճակում է, սակայն մեր երկրում էլ արևային վահանակների տեղադրումը պետք է ավելացնել մի քանի անգամ։
Հայաստանում արևային վահանակներ արտադրող մեկ ընկերություն կա՝ «Սոլարոնը», և հարկավոր է ավելացնել, թե՛ ընկերությունների թիվը, թե՛ արտադրական հզորությունները։
