Անկարան չպետք է վարդագույն ակնոցներ կրի, քանի որ եվրոպացիները չեն ցանկանում Թուրքիային տեսնել Եվրոպայում, հայտարարել է ՌԴ նախագահի մամուլի խոսնակ Դմիտրի Պեսկովը։

Ինչպես գրում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը, այսպես նա պատասխանել է այն հարցին, թե արդյոք Կրեմլը կարծում է, որ Թուրքիան սկսել է թեքվել դեպի եվրոպամետ կուրս և կենտրոնանալ Արևմուտքի վրա։

«Թուրքիան կարող է կողմնորոշվել դեպի Արևմուտք, և մենք գիտենք, որ Թուրքիայի Հանրապետության պատմության մեջ եղել են դեպի Արևմուտք ինտենսիվ կողմնորոշման շրջաններ, եղել են ավելի քիչ ինտենսիվ ժամանակաշրջաններ... եթե իրերն իերնց անուններով կոչենք, ապա ոչ ոք չի ցանկանում Թուրքիան տեսնել Եվրոպայում, ես նկատի ունեմ եվրոպացիներին: Մեր թուրք գործընկերները, հավանաբար, չպետք է վարդագույն ակնոց կրեն», - ասել է Պեսկովը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ երեխ Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը, խոսելով Շվեդիայի՝ ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցելու դիմումի գործընթացն առաջ տանելու մասին, Ստոկհոլմի անցամակցության թեման կապել էր Եվրամիությանը Թուրքիայի անդամակցության շուրջ երկխոսության հետ։

«Նախ՝ ճանապարհ բացեք Թուրքիայի համար ԵՄ-ին միանալու համար, այնուհետև մենք ճանապարհ կբացենք Շվեդիային՝ ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցության համար, ինչպես դա արեցինք Ֆինլանդիայի հետ: Թուրքիան արդեն 50 տարի սպասում է ԵՄ դռների մոտ»,- ասել էր Էրդողանը։

Մինչդեռ այսօր հայտնի է դարձել, որ Շվեդիան կաջակցի ԵՄ-ին Թուրքիայի անդամակցության գործընթացին, այդ թվում՝ Թուրքիայի քաղաքացիների համար վիզային ռեժիմի ազատականացման և Անկարայի և Բրյուսելի միջև Մաքսային միության վերականգնմանն ուղղված ջանքերին:Այս մասին Վիլնյուսում Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանի և Շվեդիայի վարչապետ Ուլֆ Քրիստերսոնի հետ եռակողմ հանդիպման արդյունքներով հայտարարել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Ենս Ստոլտենբերգը;
