Իսրայելի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Էլի Քոհենը չորեքշաբթի հայտարարել է, որ «Իրանը կանգնած է Ադրբեջանում Իսրայելի դեսպանատան վրա կանխված հարձակման հետևում», գրում է mignews.com-ը։

«Իրանական «ահաբեկչությունը» (չակերտները՝ Tert.am) գլոբալ սպառնալիք է, ինչպես մենք տեսանք վերջին մի քանի օրերին Ադրբեջանում՝ Բաքվում Իսրայելի դեսպանատան վրա հարձակվելու փորձի ժամանակ, ինչպես նաև վերջին ամիսներին՝ Կիպրոսում և Հունաստանում՝ իսրայելցիների և հրեաների վրա հարձակվելու փորձերում», - ասել է Քոհենը, որը պաշտոնական այցով գտնվում է Սերբիայում:

Նախարարի խոսքով՝ Իրանը «ֆինանսավորել և հրահանգներ է տվել հարձակման փորձ կատարած ահաբեկչական բջջին»։

Քոհենը կոչ է արել միջազգային հանրությանը միավորվել «Իրանի ահաբեկչական գործողություններին դիմակայելու համար»։

Հուլիսի 10-ին հայտնի է դարձել, որ Ադրբեջանի անվտանգության ուժերը ձերբակալել են Աֆղանստանի 23-ամյա քաղաքացու՝ Բաքվում դեսպանատան վրա հարձակում ծրագրելու կասկածանքով։ Նա ձերբակալվել է Hyatt Regency հյուրանոցի մոտ և հարցաքննվել Ադրբեջանի անվտանգության ուժերի կողմից։ Ադրբեջանը հայտարարել է, որ երիտասարդը եկել է «այլ երկրից»՝ հետևելու «երրորդ երկրի դեսպանատունը», հավաքագրելու բջիջը և ձեռք բերելու զենք ու ֆինանսավորում։
