ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարության խոսնակ Մեթյու Միլլերն անդրադարձել է հայ–ադրբեջանական բանակցությունների վերաբերյալ ՌԴ–ից հնչող հայտարարություններին, թե խաղաղության պայմանագրին հապճեպորեն գնալը նոր կոնֆլիկտներ կստեղծի։
«Ռուսաստանին վերաբերող ոչինչ չենք կարող ասել։ Ավելին, ցանկանում եմ խոսել այն երկրներից, որոնք ուղիղ են կապված հարցի հետ, որոնք հակամարտության կողմերն են։ Մենք ուղիղ ենք աշխատում այդ երկրների հետ, հատուկ բանագնաց Բոնոն նախորդ շաբաթ այցելել է տարածաշրջան, ուղիղ խոսակցություն ունեցել։ Եվ մենք հավատում ենք, որ, ի հեճուկս այլ երկրների մեկնաբանությունների, որոնք այս հակամարտության կողմ չեն, խաղաղության համաձայնությունը հասանելի է, և մենք շարունակելու ենք աշխատել նրանց հետ այս նպատակը հետապնդելով»,– ասել է նա։
Հիշեցնենք, որ ՌԴ ԱԳՆ ԱՊՀ երկրների չորրորդ դեպարտամենտի տնօրեն Դենիս Գոնչարը հայտարարել է, թե «Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև հապճեպ խաղաղության պայմանագիր կնքելու փորձը՝ ի վնաս որակի և պատշաճ պատրաստվածության, ապագայում նոր կոնֆլիկտների կհանգեցնի»։
