2023 թվականի օգոստոսի 7-ին ՄԱԿ-ի փորձագետների խումբը բարձրաձայնեց Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում տագնապալի իրավիճակի մասին՝ Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լաչինի միջանցքի շարունակական շրջափակման հետևանքով, գրում է Forbes-ը։
Ինչպես ընդգծել են նրանք, շրջափակումը հանգեցրել է նրան, որ բնակչությունը բախվել է առաջին անհրաժեշտության սննդամթերքի, դեղամիջոցների և հիգիենայի ապրանքների սուր պակասի, շրջափակումը ազդել է բժշկական և կրթական հաստատությունների գործունեության վրա և վտանգել մարդկանց՝ հատկապես երեխաների, հաշմանդամություն ունեցողների, տարեցների, հղիների և հիվանդների կյանքը։ ՄԱԿ-ի փորձագետները կոչ են արել Ադրբեջանին անհապաղ վերականգնել մարդկանց, տրանսպորտային միջոցների և ապրանքների ազատ և անվտանգ տեղաշարժը Լաչինի միջանցքով՝ համաձայն 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերի հրադադարի համաձայնագրի։
Նշվում է, որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում տիրող սարսափելի իրավիճակի մասին հաղորդագրություններին վերջապես պետք է լրջորեն վերաբերվել և քայլեր ձեռնարկել։ Քանի որ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը սովամահ է լինում, միջազգային հանրությունը չի կարող շարունակել հայացքը թեքել, ինչպես դա արել է վերջին ութ ամիսների ընթացքում: Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի ժողովուրդը շտապ օգնության կարիք ունի՝ առանց որևէ հավելյայ հիմնավորումների։
