Օգոստոսի 9-ին տեղի է ունեցել «Մայր Հայաստան» դաշինքի հիմնադիր հավաքը։

 
«Մայր Հայաստան» ժողովրդական շարժման համակարգող Անդրանիկ Թևանյանը, «Երկիր ծիրանի» կուսակցության նախագահ Զարուհի Փոստանջյանը և «Ինտելեկտուալ Հայաստան» կուսակցության նախագահ Մանուկ Սուքիասյանը համագործակցության և դաշինք կազմելու մասին հուշագիր են ստորագրել, որում ասված է․
 
«Կարևորելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետության և Արցախի Հանրապետության առջև ծառացած անվտանգային մարտահրավերների հաղթահարումը,
 
Համարելով Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում ամբողջական իշխանափոխությունն այդ մարտահրավերների հաղթահարման գլխավոր նախապայման,
 
Դիտարկելով Երևան քաղաքի ավագանու ընտրությունները որպես ամբողջական իշխանափոխության, համակարգային փլուզումները և հանրության պառակտումը կանխելու հնարավորություն՝
 
«Մայր Հայաստան» ժողովրդական շարժումը, «Երկիր ծիրանի» կուսակցությունը և «Ինտելեկտուալ Հայաստան» կուսակցությունը ձևավորում են դաշինք՝ Երևան քաղաքի ավագանու ընտրություններին «Մայր Հայաստան» համամասնական ցուցակով մասնակցելու նպատակով»:
 
Դաշինքի համամասնական ցուցակը գլխավորելու է Անդրանիկ Թևանյանը։
 
Ավելի վաղ Անդրանիկ Թևանյանը հայտարարել էր, որ «Մայր Հայաստան» ժողովրդական շարժումը որոշել է մասնակցել Երևանի ավագանու ընտրություններին՝ այն դիտարկելով որպես ամբողջական իշխանափոխության և մեր երկիրն այս վիճակից դուրս բերելու հնարավորություն։
