ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի անդամ Ադամ Շիֆը համաձայնել է հանդիպել օրեր շարունակ հաջակցություն Արցախի ակցիաներ իրականացնող ամերիկահայերի հետ։ Այս մասին իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում ուղիղ եթերում հայտնել է անհնազանդության ակցիայի մասնակից Դավիթ Մնացականյանը։
Մնացականյանի խոսքով՝ հանդիպումը կկայանա ուրբաթ՝ օգոստոսի 11-ին։
«Չորս օր պայքարից հետո մենք հասանք այն կետին, որ համատեղ ուժերով հասանք Գլենդեյլ, փակեցինք ճանապարհն ու վերջապես վերջին րոպեին նա համաձայնեց ուրբաթ օրը հանդիպել։ Նորությունների մասին հավեյլալ կտեղեկացնենք, բայց սա արդեն իսկ հաղթանակ է»,- ասաց Մնացականյանը։
Նա նաև հավելեց, որ աժմ նորից գնում են Ադամ Շիֆի գրասենյակի մոտ և չեն պատրաստվում տուն գնալ, որպեսզի իրենց հաստատակամությունը նկատելի լինի։
Հիշեցնենք, որ օրեր շարունակ ամերիկահայերը բողոքի ակցիաներ էին իրականացնում` հաջակցություն Արցախի։ Երեկ նրանք նստացույց են արել կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆի տան մոտ, իսկ քիչ առաջ փակել էին ԱՄՆ Լոս Անջելես շրջանի Բըրբանք քաղաքի փողոցները։ Նախ ցուցարարներն ավտոերթով Բըրբանքից ուղևորվել են դեպի Գլենդեյլ, ապա փակել գլխավոր մայրուղիներից մեկը՝ մոտ չորս ժամ կաթվածահար անելով երթևեկությունը, որից հետո կրկին ուղևորվել էին Բըրբանք, որտեղ պետք է հայտարարվեր, թե ինչ պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերվել ԱՄՆ Արևմտյան հայոց թեմի առաջնորդ Բարձրաշնորհ Տ․ Հովնան արքեպիսկոպոս Տերտերյանի, Գլենդեյլի քաղաքապետ Արդի Քասախյանի և ԱՄՆ Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի անդամ Ադամ Շիֆի զրույցի արդյունքներով։
