Արցախի նախագահ Արայիկ Հարությունյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրել է.
«Հարգելի՛ հայրենակիցներ,
Վերջին օրերին նկատվում է Արցախի հարցի հանդեպ միջազգային ուշադրության և Ադրբեջանի նկատմամբ ճնշման նշանակալի աճ: Մասնավորապես՝
• Ողջունելի է, որ, հաշվի առնելով նաև Արցախի Հանրապետության իշխանությունների հորդորները, Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը նամակ է հղել ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի նախագահին՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի խաղաղ բնակչությանը հարկադրված լիակատար շրջափակման հետևանքով հումանիտար իրավիճակի վատթարացման առնչությամբ ԱԽ արտահերթ նիստ գումարելու հայցով: Կարևոր է, որ նամակում պաշտոնապես ընդգծվում է նաև ցեղասպանության կանխարգելման նպատակը:
• Ողջունելի է նաև ՄԱԿ-ի մի խումբ փորձագետների հայտարարությունը, որով ընդգծում են Լաչինի միջանցքի բացման և բոլոր անհատների անվտանգության, արժանապատվության ու բարօրության ապահովման հրատապ անհրաժեշտությունը:
• Ակնհայտ է, որ միջազգային հանրությանն ուղղված իմ վերջին ուղերձը և Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի առաջին գլխավոր դատախազ Լուիս Մորենո Օքամփոյի զեկույցը մեծ արձագանք են գտել միջազգային լրատվամիջոցներում: Արդյունքում, տասնյակ առաջատար լրատվամիջոցներ անդրադարձել են առկա իրավիճակին և ներկայացրել Արցախի իշխանությունների ու առաջատար փորձագետների գնահատականներն ու կոչերը ընթացող ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ:
• Կարևոր փորձագիտական կարծիք ու հորդոր էր պարունակում նաև հայտնի ցեղասպանագետների հայտարարությունը, որը շեշտադրում է անհապաղ և վճռական գործողությունների անհրաժեշտությունը՝ կանխելու ցեղասպանությունը Արցախի ժողովրդի հանդեպ:
Իհարկե, այս և ավելի վաղ օրերին արվել են նաև այլ հայտարարություններ մի շարք միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ու պետությունների ներկայացուցիչների կողմից, որոնցում տեսանելիորեն աճում է միջազգային գործնական քայլերի կատարման հրատապության ընկալումը: Անշուշտ, ժամանակը շատ կարևոր է մեր ժողովրդի համար, և հապաղումն արժենում է մարդկային կյանքեր ու տառապանքներ:
Մենք հորդորում և պահանջում ենք բոլոր հիմնական դերակատարներից չհապաղել և չսպասել ավելի լայնածավալ ողբերգությունների՝ անցնելով գործնական ու արդյունավետ քայլերի՝ այս ցեղասպանության հետագա ընթացքը կասեցնելու համար»։
