Ով պատերազմից հետո գոնե մեկ անգամ եղել է Արցախում, վստահ եմ, այնտեղից չի վերադարձել նույն մտածելակերպով ու պատկերացումներով, որոնցով գնացել էր։ Եվ այն իրադրությունը, որը պատերազմից հետո ստեղծվել էր Արցախում ու Հայաստանում, չէր կարող չազդել մեր հետագա քաղաքական գործունեության և դրա ուղղության վերափոխման վրա։ Այս մասին գրում է «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիմնադիր Մեսրոպ Առաքելյանը։
«Այլևս որոշիչ էր մեր ապրած ամեն օրը, մեր ապրած օրվանից էր կախված, թե վաղն ինչպիսի հասարակություն կունենանք, ինչպիսի հայրենիք ու ինչպիսի երկիր։ Մենք ուզում էինք ունենալ ԱՊՐԵԼՈՒ ԵՐԿԻՐ։
Երկու տարի առաջ օգոստոսի 15-ին հիմնադրվեց «Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցությունը՝ Հայաստանի ամեն անկյունն ապրելու դարձնելու ռազմավարությամբ, ազատ ու հայկական Արցախ ունենալու անբեկանելի տեսլականով։
Մենք ունենք նվիրում պետության ու հասարակության նկատմամբ և համոզմունք, որ ի վիճակի ենք համախմբել այլ մարդկանց, ովքեր մեզ նման են մտածում, կիսում են մեր գաղափարները, խելացի են, պրոֆեսիոնալ, նվիրված և պատրաստ են իրենց ամբողջ ներուժով գործել ապրելու երկիր կառուցելու համար։ Մենք դա արեցինք։ Եվ մեր արված աշխատանքի գնահատականը դարձավ մեր քաղաքական ուժի հաղթանակը։
Երկու տարի անց էլ, մենք նույն նվիրումով, գաղափարներով ու արժեքներով շարունակում ենք ծառայել հայրենիքին ու մեր ժողովրդին։
Ընտրությունների միջոցով, իշխանափոխություն իրականացնելու մեր ռազմավարության խոսուն արդյունքներն ունենք տարբեր համայնքներում։ Մեր հաղթարշավի հաջորդ ամենակարևոր հանգրվանը մայրաքաղաք Երևանն է։ Ես վստահ եմ, որ մեր թիմի, մեր առաջարկների, մեր նվիրման ու արված աշխատանքի շնորհիվ մենք կհաջողենք նաև Երևանում։ Որովհետև ԱՊՐԵԼՈՒ պետք է դառնա բոլորիս միջավայրը, բակը, գյուղը, քաղաքն ու մայրաքաղաքը։
