COVID-19-ի դեպքերը վերջին 4 շաբաթում աշխարհում աճել են 63 %-ով․ ԱՀԿ

Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության (ԱՀԿ) տվյալներով՝ հուլիսի 17-ից մինչև օգոստոսի 13-ն աշխարհում ավելի քան 1,4 միլիոն մարդ է վարակվել կորոնավիրուսով, ավելի քան 2,3 հազարը մահացել է։ Հիվանդացության դեպքերի թիվը նախորդ 28 օրվա համեմատ աճել է 63 %-ով, իսկ մահացությունների թիվը նվազել է 56%-ով։ Այդ մասին տեղեկացնում է ТАСС գործակալությունը:
ԱՀԿ-ի տեղեկագրի համաձայն՝ չորս շաբաթվա ընթացքում աշխարհում գրանցվել է վարակման 1 422 538 դեպք և 2 366 մահ։ Քովիդով հիվանդացածների մասին հաղորդումներ են ստացվել 104 պետություններից։ Կազմակերպությունում հայտարարել են, որ COVID-19-ը «մնում է մեծ սպառնալիք», չնայած արտակարգ դրության ռեժիմի ավարտին, որի մասին ԱՀԿ-ն հայտարարել է մայիսի 5-ին։
ԱՀԿ-ն ուշադրություն է հրավիրել կորոնավիրուսի օմիկրոն շտամի EG.5 տարբերակի տարածման աճի վրա։ Օգոստոսի 17-ի դրությամբ այն հայտնաբերվել է 50 երկրներում։ Մեկ շաբաթ առաջ այդ երկրները 48-ն էին:
Հուլիսի 17-ից մինչև օգոստոսի 13-ը 97%-ով հիվանդացության աճ է գրանցվել Արևմտախաղաղօվկիանոսյան տարածաշրջանում: Ընդ որում, չորս տարածաշրջաններում, այդ թվում՝ Եվրոպայում, հիվանդության տարածումը նվազել է։ Մահացությունը նվազել է ամենուր, առավել զգալիորեն՝ 78%-ով, Աֆրիկայում։ Չորս շաբաթվա ընթացքում դեպքերի ամենամեծ թիվը գրանցվել է Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում՝ 1 209 194: Դրան հաջորդում են Ավստրալիան (30 402), Սինգապուրը (18 806), Իտալիան (18 419) և Մեծ Բրիտանիան (16 938): Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում հուլիսի 17-ից մինչև օգոստոսի 13-ը գրանցվել է վիրուսից մահացածների ամենամեծ թիվը՝ 340: Այնուհետև հաջորդում են Ավստրալիան (201), Ռուսաստանը (182), Ֆիլիպինները (162) և Իտալիան (159):
Քովիդի պատճառով արտակարգ դրության ռեժիմը համաշխարհային առողջապահությունում գործել է 2020 թվականի հունվարի վերջից մինչև 2023 թվականի մայիսի 5-ը։ 2020 թվականի մարտի 11-ին ԱՀԿ-ն COVID-19-ի բռնկումը որակել է որպես համավարակ։ Կազմակերպության՝ 2023 թվականի օգոստոսի 16-ի տվյալների համաձայն՝ աշխարհում, ընդհանուր առմամբ, արձանագրվել է կորոնավիրուսով վարակման 769 774 646 դեպք, մահացել է 6 955 141 մարդ։ ԱՀԿ-ի գլխավոր տնօրեն Թեդրոս Ադհանոմ Գեբրեյեսուսը մայիսի 5-ին Ժնևում կայացած ճեպազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ մահացածների իրական թիվը կազմում է առնվազն 20 միլիոն:
