Հումանիտար աղետին զուգահեռ, Արցախում սրվել է նաեւ ներքաղաքական վիճակը։ Պատճառն Արայիկ Հարությունյանի՝ նախագահի պաշտոնից հրաժարական տալու մտադրությունն է եղել, որի մասին մենք օրերս գրել էինք։ Անցած շաբաթվա սկզբին Հարությունյանը խորհրդարանական ուժերի ղեկավարների, նախկին նախագահներ Բակո Սահակյանի, Արկադի Ղուկասյանի եւ նախկին պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի հետ հանդիպում է ունեցել եւ նրանց տեղեկացրել հրաժարական տալու իր մտադրության մասին, սակայն հանդիպման մասնակիցները նրան բացատրել են, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակում դա կարող է աղետալի հետեւանքներ ունենալ Արցախի գոյության համար։ Այդ հանդիպման մասին մի քանի օր անց խոսեց Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը` Հարությունյանին ստախոս անվանելով եւ ասելով, որ նա հետ է կանգնել հրաժարական ներկայացնելու որոշումից։
«Շաբաթվա սկզբում Դուք ասում էիք, որ հրաժարական եք տալու, ու Ձեզ պետք չի համոզել, որովհետեւ որոշումն արդեն կայացրել եք, ու դա առաջին անգամ չէ։ 8 հոգուց, որ ներկա էին այդ հանդիպմանը, մի մասն արդեն չէր հավատում Ձեր խոսքին: Մի մասն էլ ասում էր՝ գուցե այս անգամ ճի՞շտ է ասում»,- Արցախի վերակառուցվող Հակոբավանքից ֆեյսբուքյան ուղիղ եթերում ասաց Վարդանյանը։ Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի այս էմոցիոնալ ելույթը չէր լինի, եթե Արայիկ Հարությունյանի կողմնակիցներն Արցախում խժդժություններ չիրականացնեին։ Մենք գրել էինք, որ Հարությունյանի հրաժարականի լուրն Արցախում այնքան էր իրավիճակը լարել, որ վերջինիս կողմնակիցները՝ զինվորական համազգեստով մարդիկ, ներխուժել էին Արցախի Ազգային ժողով։
Նախապատրաստվող հրաժարականի լուրի մասին իմանալով՝ Հարությունյանի ընկեր, աշխարհազորայինների ղեկավար Կարեն Մաթեւոսյանը հանդիպել էր Արցախի նախագահի հետ, լսելով, որ նա նման մտադրություն ունի, քանի որ իրեն մենակ է զգում, բոլորն իրեն են մեղադրում, եւ ինքը հոգնել է այս պայքարից, որոշել է սատար կանգնել իր ընկերոջը եւ զինված խմբով գնացել է ուղիղ խորհրդարան ու հաշիվ պահանջել նորընտիր խոսնակից` ՀՅԴ-ական Դավիթ Իշխանյանից եւ մյուս քաղաքական ուժերից, թե ինչու չեն կանգնում նախագահի կողքին։
Նախօրեին էլ աշխարհազորայինների ղեկավարը լայվ մտավ եւ արցախցիներին ասաց, թե պատրաստ է պատասխանատվություն ստանձնել պետության կառավարումը կազմակերպելու եւ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ իրականացնելու հարցում։ Ստեղծված իրավիճակի համար նա մեղադրեց բոլորին, այդ թվում՝ նախկին նախագահներին, բայց ոչ Արայիկ Հարությունյանին, եւ գրեթե սպառնաց` եթե չգան համաձայնության, իրենց հետ գործ կունենան:
