ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարության պատվերով և ֆինանսական միջոցներով պատրաստվել և Կոմիտասի անվան պանթեոնում տեղադրվել է բանաստեղծուհի Շուշանիկ Կուրղինյանի կիսանդրին: Պատմության և մշակույթի անշարժ հուշարձան հանդիսացող կիսանդրին գողացվել էր:
Աշխատանքների իրականացման համար սահմանված կարգով հայտարարվել էր մրցույթ. հաղթող քանդակագործը Սարգիս Բաղդասարյանի որդին է՝ քանդակագործ Աշոտ Բաղդասարյանը:
ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍ նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանն ու նախարարի տեղակալ Ալֆրեդ Քոչարյանն այսօր այցելել են Կոմիտասի անվան պանթեոն և ծաղիկներ խոնարհել Շուշանիկ Կուրղինյանի հուշարձանին:
Նախարարի խոսքով՝ երկար ճանապարհ անցնելուց հետո վերջապես հնարավոր եղավ Շուշանիկ Կուրղինյանի արձանը վերադարձնել իր տեղը. «2021 թվականին Կոմիտասի անվան զբոսայգու տարածքից գողացվել էր անվանի քանդակագործ, ՀԽՍՀ ժողովրդական նկարիչ Սարգիս Բաղդասարյանի քանդակած Շուշանիկ Կուրղինյանի կիսանդրին: Նոր տեղադրված կիսանդրու հեղինակ՝ քանդակագործ Աշոտ Բաղդասարյանի տեղեկացմամբ՝ այս քանդակը պատրաստվել է ոչ թե լուսանկարների, այլ նախկին քանդակի հիման վրա: Խորհրդանշական է, որ քանդակն իր տեղն է վերադարձվում ինչպիսին, որ ի սկզբանե կար: Այսօր՝ Շուշանիկ Կուրղինյանի ծննդյանը օրը, վերադարձնում ենք կիսանդրին իր տեղը, իր միջավայր: Ընդհանուր առմամբ՝ փոքրաթիվ են այն վայրերը, որոնք նվիրված են հանրության կյանքում մեծ վաստակ ունեցած և հետք թողած կանանց: Նոր պատրաստված այս կիսանդրին, տարածքի բարեկարգման որոշակի գործընթացները, հուսով եմ, կնպաստեն Շուշանիկ Կուրղինյանի կյանքի և գործունեության հանրային իրազեկմանը, մասնավորապես՝ երեխաների, դպրոցականների շրջանում»,- նշել է նախարարը և հույս հայտնել, որ այս գործընթացը կլինի շարունակական և կնպաստի մեծ ավանդ ու ներդրում ունեցած կանանց նվիրված գործերի ստեղծմանը՝ մայրաքաղաքում և մարզերում:
Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել Աշոտ Բաղդասարյանին կիսանդրու պատրաստման և դրա հետ կապված բոլոր դժվարությունները հաղթահարելու համար: Նախարարի նշմամբ՝ 2023 թ. նշվում է ՀԽՍՀ ժողովրդական նկարիչ, քանդակագործ Սարգիս Բաղդասարյանի ծննդյան 100-ամյակը, ինչի կապակցությամբ սեպտեմբերի 5-ին Հայաստանի նկարիչների միության սրահում տեղի կունենա միջոցառում՝ նվիրված անվանի արվեստագետին:
Կիսանդրու հեղինակ՝ քանդակագործ Աշոտ Բաղդասարյանը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել քանդակի ստեղծման գործում պետական հոգածության համար:
Հիշեցնենք, որ անվանի քանդակագործ, ՀԽՍՀ ժողովրդական նկարիչ Սարգիս Բաղդասարյանը (1923-2001 թթ.) բազմաթիվ հայտնի քանդակների հեղինակ է: Նրա կերտած հուշարձանների թվին են պատկանում Հունան Ավետիսյանի, Ավետիք Իսահակյանի, Հակոբ Պարոնյանի, «Մենք ենք մեր սարերը», «Ղարաբաղցիները», «Մեղեդի», «Հավերժ բարեկամություն», Դավիթ Բեկի, Լոռեցի Սաքոյի հուշարձանները:
Քանդակագործի ստեղծագործություններից պահվում են ՌԴ Տրետյակովյան պատկերասրահում, Արևելքի ժողովուրդների արվեստի (Մոսկվա), Լիտվայի, Տաջիկստանի թանգարաններում, Հայաստանի ազգային պատկերասրահում:
