«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Հայաստանը ղեկավարած գործիչների շարքում Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ամենից հաճախ ու բոլորից շատ է գործածել և գործածում «խաղաղություն» բառը: Բայց, ի տարբերություն բոլոր «նախկինների», նրա իշխանավարման շրջանն ուղղակի գերհագեցած է աղետներով, մահերով, կորուստներով ու ավերածություններով՝ որպես նրա «քաղաքականության» ուղիղ հետևանք: Ադրբեջանական կողմը երեկ առավոտյան 07:50-ից սկսած ակտիվ կրակի տակ է առել Սոթքի հատվածում տեղակայված հայկական ԶՈՒ դիրքերը, ընթացքում թշնամու կողմից կիրառվել է նաև ականանետ, ըստ տեղեկությունների, գործադրվել են նաև հրետանային միջոցներ: Թերթը հրապարակման պատրաստելու պահին պաշտոնապես հայտնի էր մեր երեք զինվորի զոհվելու ու ևս մեկ զինծառայողի վիրավորվելու մասին:

Նույն ժամանակ, ըստ ՊՆ պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության, իրավիճակն ու թշնամու կողմից կրակի ինտենսիվությունը պահպանվում էին: Իսկ դրանից ընդամենը մեկ օր առաջ իր գլխավորած կառավարության նիստում «խաղաղության օրակարգի» գերագույն քարոզիչը, ի դեմս վարչապետի պաշտոնն զբաղեցնող Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի, էլի խոսում էր... խաղաղությունից: Նա, մասնավորապես, ասաց, որ Լոռու մարզ կատարած այցից հետո հասկացել է, թե մարդու բարեկեցությունն ապահովելու համար ինչ պետք է անի կառավարությունը. «Գլոբալ առումով՝ խաղաղություն ապահովելուց հետո կառավարությունը քաղաքացուն պետք է ասի՝ հարգելի քաղաքացի, մենք ապահովեցինք բոլոր պայմանները, որպեսզի դուք աշխատեք և ձեր բարեկեցությունը զարգացնեք: Այսինքն, կառավարության խնդիրը քաղաքացուն հաց տալը չէ, կառավարության խնդիրն է ապահովել բոլոր անհրաժեշտ պայմանները, որպեսզի քաղաքացին արժանապատիվ աշխատանքով իր արժանապատիվ հացը վաստակի»:

Այո՜, ակնհայտորեն «առաջադիմում» է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը. պահանջվեց ինչ-որ 5 տարի, որ նա պատկերացում կազմի, թե «ինչ պետք է անի կառավարությունը»: Չէ, իհարկե, առնվազն հիմար պետք է լինել խաղաղություն չցանկանալու համար: Բայց գուցե նրան ինչ-որ մեկը հուշի՞, որ կառավարության, իշխանության առաջնային պարտականությունը ոչ թե վերացական «խաղաղություն», այլ իր ղեկավարած երկրի քաղաքացիների, բնակիչների ու պետության անվտանգությունն ապահովելն ու կոնկրետ ամբողջականությունը պաշտպանելն է, ինչից հետո կամ ինչի պայմաններում միայն կարող է խոսք լինել մնացյալի, այդ թվում՝ օրինականության, վաստակի հնարավորությունների, ներդրումային միջավայրի, մանկապարտեզ-ասֆալտի ու մնացյալի մասին:

Որովհետև, եթե ապահովված չէ անվտանգությունը, իսկ թշնամին էլ շարունակական ոտնձգություններ է անում, ավելին՝ երկրի ավելի քան 100 քառակուսի կիլոմետր տարածք օկուպացված է թշնամու կողմից, ապա մնացյալի մասին խոսակցություններն անիմաստ են, ինչպես անիմաստ է ու, ավելին, չարդարացված ճոխություն է՝ նման կառավարություն պահելը կամ հանդուրժելը: Թե բա՝ «կառավարության խնդիրը քաղաքացուն հաց տալը չէ»: Այս կառավարությունը քաղաքացիներին առնվազն արդեն ավելի քան երեք տարի է, ինչ ոչ թե հաց, այլ գերազանցապես ողբ ու լաց է «տալիս»: Ու արդեն՝ հերի՛ք է: Իսկապես հերի՛ք է:
