Սամվել Շահրամանյանը շաբաթ օրն ընտրվեց Արցախի նախագահ՝ 22 կողմ, 1 դեմ ձայների հարաբերակցությամբ։

Դեռ այս լուրը չէր հասցրել տարածվել, երբ քաղաքական քննարկման և շահարկումների առիթ տվեց մեկ այլ տեղեկատվություն:
Շաբաթ երեկոյան Արցախի տեղեկատվական շտաբից հայտնել էին, որ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության կառավարությունը հանդես է եկել Արցախի Հանրապետությանը հումանիտար օգնություն տրամադրելու նախաձեռնությամբ՝ հաշվի առնելով Արցախում ստեղծված հումանիտար ճգնաժամը:

«Արցախի Հանրապետության իշխանությունները, ելնելով Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացվող լիակատար շրջափակման հետևանքով առաջացած սուր հումանիտար խնդիրները մեղմելու անհրաժեշտությունից, որոշել են թույլ տալ Ասկերան քաղաքով ռուսական բեռների մուտքը մեր հանրապետություն: Միաժամանակ ձեռք է բերվել պայմանավորվածություն, համաձայն որի՝ Լաչինի միջանցքով վերականգնվելու են հումանիտար բեռնափոխադրումները ռուս խաղաղապահների ու Կարմիր խաչի միջազգային կոմիտեի կողմից»,- ասված էր հայտարարության մեջ:

Արդյունքում, սակայն, հումանիտար բեռն այդպես էլ Արցախ չհասավ: Ադրբեջանական կողմը չեղարկել է պայմանավորվածությունը, ասելով, որ միայն Աղդամով մուտքն է լինելու՝ բացառելով Լաչինի միջանցքի որևէ ձևով գործարկումը: Նման իրավիճակում պայմանավորվածությունից հրաժարվել է նաև Ստեփանակերտը:
Ստեղծված իրավիճակն ավելի է խորացնում ճգնաժամը:

Մի կողմից, միջազգային բավարար ճնշում չկա Ադրբեջանի վրա՝ Լաչինի միջանցքը բացելու ուղղությամբ, մյուս կողմից՝ Բաքուն կեղծ հիմքեր է ստեղծում՝ Արցախում և Հայաստանի սահմաններին էսկալացիա հրահրելու համար:

Դրամատիկ այս զարգացումները տարբեր հանգուցալուծումներ կարող են ունենալ, սակայն փաստ է, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակն ավելի աղոտ է դարձնում ճգնաժամը դիվանագիտական ճանապարհով հաղթահարելու հույսը:
