«Երբ օրեր առաջ լուր էինք պատրաստվում տպագրել Արթուր Բաղդասարյանի որդու՝ Դուբայում կայանալիք հարսանիքի մասին, մեր հարցին ի պատասխան, ՕԵԿ-ից ասել էին՝ նման բան չկա։  Ապա չէին բավարարվել լրագրողին ապակողմնորոշելով, կապվել էին թերթի խմբագրի հետ, որ կրկին համոզեն-խնդրեն, որ «սուտ է՝ սխալ բան չգրեք, որ հետո չհերքեք»։ Պնդում էին, որ հարսանիքը վաղուց է կայացել, և խոսքն ընդամենը ամուսնական ճամփորդության մասին է, որ նորապսակները որոշել են մեղրամիսն անցկացնել Դուբայում՝ ծովի ափին։ Մենք, իհարկե, լուրը տպագրեցինք՝ վկայակոչելով մեր աղբյուրները, սակայն նշեցինք նաև ՕԵԿ-ական «վարկածը», որը, ինչպես նախօրեին պարզվեց, սովորական, անամոթ սուտ էր։

Երեկ արդեն համացանցում հարսանեկան լուսանկարներ հայտնվեցին, տեղեկություններ նավի վրա կազմակերպված փարթիի, հյուրերի կազմի մասին։ Իմացանք, որ մի ողջ ինքնաթիռ հարսանքավորներ է «Օրինաց երկիր» կուսակցության «համեստ» նախագահը տեղափոխել Դուբայ՝ հարսի ընկերուհիների, վարսահարդարի, վիզաժիստի հետ միասին։ Իմացանք նաև, որ շատ շքեղ ու ճոխ հարսանիք են արել։ Հյուրերի համար 4-5-օրյա մշակութային ու զվարճալիքների ծրագիր մշակել, որ հարսանիքից թացի այլ հաճույքներից էլ օգտվեն։ Նեղ շրջանակում էլ բացատրել են, որ Դուբայում հարսանիքն անելու իմաստն այն էր, որ պատգամավորների ու իշխանավորների հսկա բազմությանը հրավիրելու պարտավորություն չունենան՝ Բաղդասարյանը ոմանց չի ուզում, բայց չի էլ կարող չհրավիրել։ Նորմալ է։ Այս ամենն այդքան չէր վրդովվեցնի մեզ, եթե ստելու, մեզ մոլորեցնելու փորձերը չլինեին։ Ի վերջո, սա փոքր երկիր է, և ինչ-որ ժամանակ անց ամեն ինչ հայտնի է դառնում՝ ի՞նչ իմաստ ունի ստելը։ Եվ այդ սուտը տարածողները, ի վերջո, ինչպե՛ս են նայելու մեր աչքերին»,–գրում է թերթը։
