Այսօր 44-օրյա պատերազմի տարելիցն է

Այսօր 2020-ի 44–օրյա պատերազմի երրորդ տարելիցն է։
2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին, ժամը 07։10-ին Ադրբեջանը լայնածավալ հարձակում սկսեց ԼՂ–ի դեմ: Մարտական գործողությունները ընթացան արցախա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծի ողջ երկայնքով, ինչպես նաև հայ-ադրբեջանական շփման գծի որոշ հատվածներում։
Պատերազմը տևեց 44 օր։ Արդեն նոյեմբերի 9-ին գիշերը հայտարարվեց, որ Հայաստանի, Ռուսաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարները 9 կետից բաղկացած եռակողմ հայտարարություն են ստորագրել կրակի դադարեցման մասին։ Ըստ այդ հայտարարության ԼՂ–ում տեղակայվեց ռուսական խաղաղապահ զորախումբը՝ մոտ 2 հազար խաղաղապահ և 470 միավոր զինտեխնիկա։
Պատերազմի արդյունքում հայկական կողմը տվեց ավելի քան 3800 զոհ։ Ավելի քան 200 հոգու գտնվելու վայրը դեռ անհայտ է։
Պատերազմում Ադրբեջանը կիրառեց իր ողջ զինանոցը՝ ԱԹՍ-ների, նորագույն տեխնիկայի և ծանր հրետանու լայնամասշտաբ ռազմական օգտագործմամբ, և այդ իսկ պատճառով ռազմական գործողություններն անվանում են 5-րդ սերնդի։
