Եվրամիությունն ու Վաշինգտոնը ճնշում են գործադրում Երևանի վրա, որպեսզի Հայաստանի ղեկավարությունը որոշում կայացնի դուրս գալ ՀԱՊԿ-ից: Այս մասին այսօր տեղի ունեցած ճեպազրույցում հայտարարել է Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ խոսնակ Մարիա Զախարովան: «Ըստ մեզ հասնող տեղեկության` Վաշինգտոնն ու Բրյուսելը համոզում են Հայաստանի ղեկավարությանը դուրս գալ ՀԱՊԿ-ից, ամրապնդել ՆԱՏՕ-ի հետ գործակցությունը, վերակազմավորել ռազմատեխնիկական գործակցությունը և խաղաղության պայմանագիր ստորագրել՝ առանց հաշվի առնելու Ղարաբաղի հայերի իրավունքներն ու անվտանգությունը»,- ասել է Զախարովան:

Նրա խոսքով Մոսկվայում տեսնում են, թե  ինչ ապակառուցողական մոլեռանդությամբ են ամերիկացիները մշակում Երևանին»: «Հանրապետություն են ուղարկել ԱՄՆ միջազգային զարգացման գործակալության ղեկավարին, որը հայտնի է իր ռուսաֆոբիայով՝ [Սամանթա] Փաուերին և պետքարտուղարի տեղակալ [Յուրի] Քիմին, որը վերջերս լսումների ժամանակ խոստովանել էր, որ  իրենք զբաղվում են երկրներին Ռուսաստանի հետ դաշինքից կամ փոխգործակցությունից կամ համագործակցությունից վերակողմնորոշելու գործով»,- ասել է Զախարովան:

ՌԴ ԱԳՆ խոսնակը կարծում է, որ այդ նպատակների հետևից ընկնելով՝ արևմտամետները մոռացել են մարդու իրավունքների ոլորտում սեփական որևէ արժեքի մասին՝ աչք փակելով, օրինակ, Հայաստանում ցուցարարներին ծեծելու, ձերբակալելու վրա․ «…Եթե ԱՄՆ-ն տեսնում էր, թե ինչ է կատարվում նույն Իրանում, ապա գոնե պետք է տեսներ նաև, թե ինչ է կատարվում Երևանում։ Բայց ԱՄՆ-ն լռում է։

Եվ դա նույնիսկ երկակի ստանդարտներ չեն, դա ստանդարտների բացակայություն է, սեփական ժողովրդավարական արժեքների ոտնահարում, ըստ էության` միջամտություն ինքնիշխան պետության գործերին»։
