Svpressa.ru-ն «Քաղաքագետ Կոտ. Փաշինյանին երկար ժամանակ չի մնում «թագավորել» իր երկրում» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ քաղաքագետ, հրապարակախոս Յուրի Կոտը նշել է, թե կա երկու Հայաստան. մեկը Արևմուտքի կողմից խաբված Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի երկիրն է, մյուսը՝ քրիստոնեական, Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ բարեկամական տրամադրված երկիրը։ «Օրինակ՝ ես ունեմ հայ ընկերներ, ովքեր հստակ տեսնում են, որ այս ամբողջ դեմարշը ինքնասպանություն է իրենց հայրենիքի համար, և սարսափում են դրանից։ Նրանք հասկանում են, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը գործում է բացառապես Ամերիկայի շահերից ելնելով: Իսկ այն, թե ինչպես նա փաստացի հանձնեց Արցախը, ինչպես է փչացնում հարաբերությունները Ռուսաստանի հետ, հայ ժողովրդի մոտ չի ավելացնում վստահությունը նրա նկատմամբ»,- svpressa.ru-ի հետ զրույցում պարզաբանել է քաղաքագետը։

Նրա խոսքով, ԱՄՆ-ը երաշխավորում է Փաշինյանի անվտանգությունը և նրա շարունակական մնալը իշխանության, քանի որ Երևանում է գտնվում երկուսուկես հազարանոց անձնակազմով ամերիկյան ամենամեծ դեսպանատներից մեկը։ «Ի՞նչ են անում նրանք այնտեղ՝ փոքրիկ Հայաստանում, կուզենայի հարցնել։ Մյուս կողմից՝ իմանալով հայերի տաքարյուն բնավորությունը՝ կարող եմ ասել, որ Փաշինյանը երկար չի «թագավորի» իր երկրում, ինչքան էլ այնտեղ լինեն ամերիկացիները։ Հիմա նրան ատող գրեթե հարյուր հազար հայ է Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից մտել Հայաստան, և վստահ եղեք՝ նրանք կհամալրեն երկրի այն բնակիչների շարքերը, ովքեր պատրաստ են ակտիվորեն ընդդիմանալ ներկայիս իշխանությանը»,- ընդգծել է փորձագետը։

Նա նաև հիշեցրել է Փաշինյանին, որ ինքը իշխանության է եկել «ժողովրդական զայրույթի ալիքի վրա՝ ժողովրդին խոստանալով ազատ կամք արտահայտելու հնարավորություն»։ «Եվ հիմա ասում է, որ ոչ մի դեպքում չի հեռանա իշխանությունից, ինչ էլ որ իրեն անեն։ Դե, տեսնենք։ Եթե նա չհեռանա, նրան ուղղակի դուրս կվռնդեն: Իսկ Հռոմի այդ ստատուտի վավերացումը պարզապես Մոսկվային մի փոքր վնաս հասցնելու փորձ է։ Մենք բոլորս շատ լավ հասկանում ենք, որ ավելի շուտ Հայաստանը կգնա ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի մոտ, քան նա կգնա Հայաստան»,- եզրափակել է Կոտը:
