Aravot.am-ը Արցախի թեմի առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տեր Վրթանես Եպիսկոպոս Աբրահամյանից հետաքրքրվել է՝ ի՞նչ է հնարավոր եղել հանել Արցախի վանական համալիրներից: «Ինչ-որ կարողացել են, քահանա հայրերն իրենց հետ ավտոբուսով կամ իրենց փոքրիկ մեքենաներով դուրս են հանել, հատկապես իրենց հետ բերել են Սուրբ սեղանների սպասքը: Ավելին չեն կարողացել, որովհետեւ անհնար է եղել, հատկապես որ սեփական ընտանիքները տեղափոխելու խնդիր կար: Ես իրենց միայն թելադրել եմ, որ Սուրբ սեղանի սպասքը, սկիհները, սրբությունները, Խաչը, ավետարանները գոնե բերեն, որոնք ծավալով շատ փոքր են: Մնացած բաները հնարավոր չի եղել տեղափոխել»,-ասել է Սրբազանը:
Հարցին՝ իսկ ռուս խաղաղապահներին, ՀՀ կառավարությանը դիմե՞լ են այդ հարցով, նա պատասխանել է․ «Հնարավորություն է եղել դրանք պատկան մարմինների կողմից դուրս բերելու, տրանսպորտ էլ է եղել, բայց վարորդ չի եղել, որ փոխադրամիջոցը վարի: Բայցի դրանից, հնարավոր չի եղել այդ ամենը կազմակերպել այդ քաոսի մեջ: Ես միայն դիմել եմ ռուս խաղաղապահներին, տվել եմ իրենց համապատասխան ցանկը, որ այս վանքերն ու եկեղեցիները խնդրում եմ ձեր վերահսկողության տակ վերցնեք մինչեւ ձեր՝ այդտեղ գտնվելու ժամանակահատվածը: Նրանք ինձ պատասխանել են, որ դիմել են Ադրբեջանի ներքին գործերի նախարարին, իրենց այնտեղից ասել են, որ խոստանում են՝ կապահովեն այդ վանքերի ու եկեղեցիների անվտանգությունը»։
