2023 թվականի հոկտեմբերի 11-ին՝ ժամը 11:44-ին, ահազանգ է ստացվել այն մասին, որ Հրազդան բժշկական կենտրոնի անձնակազմը մեկնելով կանչի հասցե՝ ք.Հրազդան Վանատուր թաղամաս տներից մեկը, մահացած վիճակում հայտնաբերել է մի տղամարդու:
Դեպքի առթիվ նույն օրը ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեի Կոտայքի մարզային քննչական վարչությունում, ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 155-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասի հատկանիշներով, նախաձեռնվել է քրեական վարույթ:
Պարզվել է, որ մահացածը Եղվարդի բնակիչ, տվյալ տանը վարձակալությամբ բնակվող, 64-ամյա Ա.Հովհաննիսյանն է։ Զննությամբ դիակի վրա՝ գլխի շրջանում, հայտնաբերվել են բազմաթիվ վնասվածքներ:
Պարզվել է, որ նշված տանը կենցաղային հարցերի շուրջ վիճաբանություն է ծագել վերջինիս և հարևանությամբ բնակվող, Հրազդանի 39-ամյա բնակչի միջև, որի ընթացքում վերջինս Ա.Հովհաննիսյանին գլխի շրջանում հասցրել հարվածներ, ինչի հետևանքով 64-ամյա տղամարդը մահացել է:
Սպանություն կատարելու անմիջականորեն ծագած հիմնավոր կասկածի առկայության հիմքով Հրազդան քաղաքի 39-ամյա բնակիչը ոստիկանության աշխատակիցների կողմից ձերբակալվել և ներկայացվել է վարույթն իրականացնող մարմնին։ Քննիչի կողմից կայացվել է նրան ձերբակալելու որոշում։ Վերջինս հարցաքննվել է և տվել խոստովանական ցուցմունք:

Ծանուցում. Հանցանքի համար մեղադրվողը համարվում է անմեղ, քանի դեռ նրա մեղավորությունն ապացուցված չէ ՀՀ քրեական դատավարության օրենսգրքով սահմանված կարգով` դատարանի` օրինական ուժի մեջ մտած դատավճռով:
