Ադրբեջանի նախագահի հատուկ հանձնարարություններով ներկայացուցիչ Էլչին Ամիրբեկովը BBC-ին տված հարցազրույցում հայտարարել է, որ Արցախն ստանալուց հետո իրենց մյուս կարևոր խնդիրը Հայաստանի հետ սահմանների դելիմիտացիան է։

«Գլխավոր հարցն այն է, թե երկու կողմերն էլ կունենա՞ն բավարար քաղաքական կամք այս հարցը խաղաղ ճանապարհով լուծելու համար։ Մենք ցանկանում ենք նման լուծում գտնել այնքան, որքան ցանկանում ենք առաջընթաց երկկողմ բանակցությունների այլ ոլորտներում։ Ես հավատում եմ, որ որքան շուտ համաձայնեցվի մեր միջեւ սահմանը, այնքան լավ։ Այդքան քիչ հավանական է, որ ռազմական գործողությունները վերսկսվեն»,- ասում է Ամիրբեկովը։

BBC-ն նշում է, որ Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև սահմանների սահմանազատման և սահմանազատման հետ մեկտեղ կա ևս մեկ վիճահարույց խնդիր՝ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը» (չակերտները՝ Iravaban.net-ի) ։ Հայաստանում մտավախություն ունեն, որ Բաքուն ցանկանում է իր վերահսկողության տակ վերցնել Զանգեզուրը։ Սակայն Էլչին Ամիրբեկովը հերքել է նման ծրագրերի առկայությունը։

«Մենք ընդունում ենք, որ սա Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան տարածքն է։ Բայց մեզ համար կարևոր է իմանալ, թե մյուս կողմն ինչպես է ապահովելու միջանցքի երթևեկության անվտանգությունը»,- նշում է Ամիրբեկովը։ «Մեզ պետք են հուսալի երաշխիքներ յուրաքանչյուր ուղևորի անվտանգության համար, ով գնացք է նստում Ադրբեջանի հիմնական հատվածից դեպի Նախիջևան կամ հակառակը»։

Ամիրբեկովի խոսքով՝ Բաքուն պատրաստ է բանակցությունների, բայց եթե Հայաստանը որոշի հետաձգել գործընթացը, ապա Ադրբեջանը պատրաստ է երթուղի կառուցել Իրանի տարածքով։
