Խնդրելով որևէ մեկը խաղաղություն և ոչ էլ տարածքային ամբողջականութուն չի պարգևելու։
Այս մասին դատարանի բակում լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցում ասաց ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը։
Նրա խոսքով՝ պետության թիվ մեկ խնդիրը եղել և մնալու է իր քաղաքացիների անվտանգությունը, տարածքային ամբողջականությունն ապահահովելը։
«Ժողովրդավարությամբ և ընդհանրապես բոլոր ֆորմատներով էլ այս ամենը հնարավոր է։ Ժողովրդավարությունը լավագույն ձևն է, բայց Ձեր կարծիքով Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարությո՞ւն է։
Եթե ժողովրդավարությունն այսպիսինն է, ուրեմն, դա ոչ մեկին պետք չէ։ Եթե այսօր 20-ից ավել քաղբանտարկյալներ կան, եթե մեր հայրենակիցների մի մասը՝ 150 000-ն ուղղակի արտաքսվել է այնտեղից, ապա ի՞նչ ժողովրդավարության մասին է խոսքը»,-նշեց Սարգսյանը։
Անդրադառնալով Արցախի ղեկավարության հասցեին հնչող մեղադրանքներին, որ նրանք են հանձնել Արցախը, նախկին նախագահն արձագանքեց․
«Ամբողջ աշխարհն ասում է՝ ով է հանձնել Արցախը ու ինչպես։ Ի՞նչ կապ ունեն նախկին նախագահները դրա հետ։ Արցախի ինքնորոշումը իրականություն դարձնելու դեմ պայքարում էր ոչ միայն Ադրբեջանը, այլև ՀՀ իշխանությունը և Արցախի նախկին իշխանությունը»։
Սերժ Սարգսյանը նաև հայտարարեց, որ իր համար Արցախի էջը փակված չէ, նա շանս տեսնում է, որ Արցախը էլի կլինի հայկական։
