Սաակաշվիլին Երևանին և Բաքվին կոչ է անում դիտարկել Ուկրաինայի և Մոլդովայի միջև կարգավորումը

Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահ, Օդեսայի նախկին նահանգապետ Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլին դիմել է Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի ղեկավարներին՝ զգուշացնելով «միջանցքի» հարցով Հարավային Կովկասում ռազմական նոր հակամարտության սպառնալիքի մասին և ընդգծելով, որ կան այլընտրանքային լուծումներ:
Պնդելով, որ «Ռուսաստանը շահագրգռված է այդ հակամարտությունը բորբոքելով», քանի որ «նման պատերազմը ոչ միայն կվնասի Ադրբեջանի միջազգային վարկը, այլև կարող է հանգեցնել Հայաստանում կառավարության փոփոխության», Սաակաշվիլին Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի ղեկավարներին հորդորում է որպես հնարավոր օրինակ դիտարկել Ուկրաինայի և Մոլդովայի միջև գոյություն ունեցող կարգավորումը:
«Այս երկու երկրները պահպանում են բարիդրացիական հարաբերություններ՝ փոխադարձաբար ճանաչելով միմյանց սահմանները: Սցենարում, որտեղ Ուկրաինան խնդրում էր Օդեսա քաղաքից մուտք դեպի Օդեսայի շրջանի հարավային մաս, Մոլդովան պատրաստակամորեն համաձայնեց վարձակալությամբ տալ Դնեստրի շրջանով անցնող մի ճանապարհ:
Որպես Օդեսայի նախկին նահանգապետ՝ ես հաճախ եմ օգտվել այդ վարձակալված ճանապարհից (որը վերանորոգել եմ) ուկրաինացի սահմանապահների հսկողության տակ, երբ ցանկացել եմ ճամփորդել ուկրաինական Բեսարաբիա: Մոլդովան կոմերցիոն օգուտներ է ստանում այս համաձայնությունից», - գրում է Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահը Facebook-ում:
Սաակաշվիլին համոզմունք է հայտնում, որ նման լուծումը շահավետ կլիներ թե՛ Հայաստանի և թե՛ Ադրբեջանի համար
«Հայաստանն առևտրային և ֆինանսական առավելություններ ձեռք կբերեր, ինչպես նաև նշանակալի տարանցիկ ճանապարհների հասանելություն: Ի հավելումն՝ Ադրբեջանը կարող էր խուսափել ռուսական զորքերի շարունակական ներկայությունից, ինչն ի վերջո կհանգեցներ երկու երկրների խաղաղ գոյակցության»:
