Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հայտարարել է, որ նրանք, ովքեր Արևմուտքում «կոկորդիլոսի արցունքներ» են թափում Ուկրաինայի հակամարտության զոհերի համար, այսօր լուռ հետևում են Գազայի հատվածում երեխաների մահվան դեպքերին։ 

«Նրանք, ովքեր երեկ կոկորդիլոսի արցունքներ էին թափում Ուկրաինայի և Ռուսաստանի միջև պատերազմում զոհված խաղաղ բնակիչների համար, այսօր լուռ հետևում են հազարավոր անմեղ երեխաների մահվանը (Գազայում - խմբ.): Եթե դուք արցունքներ եք թափում Ուկրաինայում սպանվածների համար, ապա ինչո՞ւ եք լռում Գազայում մահացածների վերաբերյալ»,- ասել է Էրդողանը` ելույթ ունենալով Ստամբուլում Պաղեստինին աջակցելու նպատակով կազմակերպված հանրահավաքի ժամանակ։

Էրդողանը նաև հայտարարել է, որ Թուրքիան պատրաստվում է Իսրայելին «պատերազմական հանցագործ» ճանաչել։ «Մենք Իսրայելին պատերազմական հանցագործ կհայտարարենք, մենք պատրաստվում ենք դրան»,- ասել է նա։

Թուրքիայի ղեկավարն իր ելույթում հիշատակել է նաև Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի դեմ թուրք–ադրբեջանական ագրեսիան։

«Օ՜, Արևմուտք, քեզ եմ դիմում։ Ցանկանու՞մ եք նորից սկսել Կիսալուսին-Խաչակիր առճակատումը: Թուրքիան չի մեռել, այն դեռ կանգուն է։ Պետք է իմանաք, որ մենք Մերձավոր Արևելքում գոյություն ունենք այնպես, ինչպես Լիբիայում և Ղարաբաղում»,– ասել է նա:
