Վրաստանի երրորդ նախագահ Միխեիլ Սահակաշվիլին ասել է, որ իր տեղեկություններով՝ երկիր է մտել ռուսների դիվերսիոն խումբ և «շատ վատ մտադրություններ» ունեն։ Նրանք «զինված են»։
«Իմ տեղեկություններով՝ ռուսների դիվերսիոն խումբը մտել է Վրաստանի տարածք։ Այս դիվերսիոն խումբը շատ վատ մտադրություններ ունի։
Նրանք զինված են և վերահսկվում են ռուսական բանակի առաջին դիվիզիայի կողմից։ Այս իրավիճակում, առավել քան երբևէ, մեզ անհրաժեշտ է համակարգում արևմտյան գործընկերների և քաղաքացիական հասարակության հետ։
Ավելի քան երբևէ, մեզ անհրաժեշտ է համակարգում մեր ժողովրդի հետ, և մենք անպայման կգնանք խաղաղության»,- ասել է Սահակաշվիլին՝ Թբիլիսիի քաղաքային դատարանի դատավարությանը առցանց մասնակցության ժամանակ։
Այնուամենայնիվ, դատական նիստում որոշվել է անջատել Սահակաշվիլիի տեսազանգը՝ ըստ դատավորի՝ երրորդ նախագահի քաղաքական հայտարարությունների պատճառով։
