absatz.media-ն «Փշեր և բազա. ի՞նչ է սպառնում Հայաստանին, եթե ռուս զինվորականները դուրս գան Գյումրիից» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ հրատարակության սյունակագիր Յուրի Կնուտովը տխուր հետևանքներ է կանխատեսել Երևանի համար: «Հայաստանի ղեկավարությունը հետաքրքիր պատկերացում ունի մեր հարաբերությունների մասին ռուսական ռազմակայանի վաղաժամկետ դուրսբերման դեպքում։ Ասում են, օրինակ՝ որ դա չի փչացնի երկու երկրների միջև առևտրային հարաբերությունները։ Այսինքն, մտածում են, որ կազատվեն մեր կայազորներից ու կշարունակեն մեզ իրենց կոնյակները մատակարարել՝ իբր ոչինչ չի՞ եղել։

Հայաստանի բնակչության մի զգալի մասը, որը լսում է իր վարչապետին, կարծես թե պարզապես տեղյակ չէ այդ մասին։ Նրանք համոզված են, որ մեղավորը Ռուսաստանն է, քանի որ «նա պետք է պաշտպաներ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը»։ Իսկ Հայաստանն ինքը «չպետք է պաշտպաներ», և այս տարիների ընթացքում այն պաշտոնապես շարունակում էր համարել Ադրբեջանի մաս։ Ռուսաստանը շահագրգռված է պահպանել իր ներկայությունը տարածաշրջանում, ինչը մեծ հետաքրքրություն է ներկայացնում տրանսպորտային ուղիների տեսանկյունից։ Ադրբեջանն ու Թուրքիան, ընդհակառակը, շահագրգռված են Ռուսաստանին Անդրկովկասից դուրս մղելու մեջ։ Դա է հարցը։ Հայաստանը սակարկության առարկա է Արևմուտքի համար։ Եվ մեր բազան մնում է նրա անկախության պահպանման միակ երաշխավորը։

Հեռացնելով այն՝ Փաշինյանը իր երկրի համար դատավճիռ կկայացնի: Եվրամիությունը չի պաշտպանի Հայաստանին: Տնտեսական տեսանկյունից Եվրոպան հայկական արտադրանքի կարիքը չունի: Ռազմական տեսանկյունից նույնպես միամտություն է հույսը դնել ֆրանսիական զորքերի վրա։ Այժմ նրանց դուրս են քշում անգամ Աֆրիկայից։ Ես նույնիսկ կասկածում եմ, որ ֆրանսիական հասարակությունը կհամաձայնի «խաղաղապահ կոնտինգենտ» ուղարկել Ադրբեջանի հետ սահման։Բայց կարծես թե հայ իշխող քաղաքական գործիչներին ամենևին էլ չի հետաքրքրում իրենց երկրի ճակատագիրը։ Նրանք ամեն ինչ ունեն Արևմուտքում՝ անշարժ գույք, հաշիվներ։ Նրանք կարծում են, որ կիրականացնեն Արևմուտքի դրած նպատակը, իսկ հետո կհաստատվեն ինչ-որ տեղ Փարիզում կամ Լոնդոնում»:
