Լեմկինի Ցեղասպանության կանխարգելման ինստիտուտը կարմիր` ամենաբարձր նախազգուշացումն է հայտարարել Ադրբեջանի համար, քանի որ առաջիկա օրերին և շաբաթներին այդ երկրի կողմից Հայաստան ներխուժման անհանգստացնող հավանականություն է տեսնում:
«Ադրբեջանը վաղուց է տենչում Հայաստանի հարավային Սյունիքի մարզը, որը ոչ վաղ անցյալում քննարկվում էր որպես վայր, որտեղով անցնելու էր Ադրբեջանի կողմից վերահսկվող «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքը» դեպի Նախիջևան:
Հաշվի առնելով տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցող վերջին քաղաքական զարգացումները, այդ թվում՝ 2023 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 19-ին ադրբեջանական ներխուժումն Արցախ և դրան հաջորդած տարածքի բռնազավթավումը, ինչպես նաև Թուրքիայում և Ադրբեջանում տարածված էնդեմիկ ցեղասպանական հայատյացությունը, մեծ ռիսկ կա, որ Ադրբեջանի ներխուժումը կարող է վերածվել ցեղասպանության:
Աշխարհին հիշեցնում ենք, որ ցեղասպանությունը միայն զանգվածային սպանությունների միջոցով չի արտահայտվում, ինչպես եղավ 2023 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Արցախի/Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի վերջին բռնազավթման ժամանակ: Ցեղասպանությունը կարող է արտահայտվել նաև կոտորածի, վայրագության և բնիկ տարածքներից բռնի տեղահանման միջոցով, երբ այդ գործողությունների հիմքում ընկած գաղափարախոսությունն ուղղված է ինքնության ամբողջական կամ մասնակի ոչնչացմանը։
Թեև Ադրբեջանի պաշտոնյաները վերջերս իրենց հեռու են պահում Սյունիքով անցնող «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» ծրագրից, այնուամենայնիվ, անհանգստանալու մի քանի պատճառ կա: Արցախի հայկական տարածքի դեմ Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիվ պատերազմից հետո, որը հանգեցրել է հայ խաղաղ բնակիչների դաժան սպանություններին և գրեթե ողջ հայ բնակչության բռնի տեղահանմանը, Ադրբեջանը հրապարակայնորեն իր հայացքն ուղղել է Հայաստանի ամենահարավային Սյունիքի մարզին, որը նա համարում է իր սեփական տարածք՝ այն անվանելով «Արևմտյան Ադրբեջան»», - ասվում է հայտարարությունում:
