Խորը ցավով հայտնում ենք, որ 2023թ. նոյեմբերի 7-ին 72 տարեկան հասակում կյանքից հեռացել է Միավորված ազգերի կրթական, գիտական և մշակութային կազմակերպությունում (ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ) Հայաստանի Հանրապետության մշտական ներկայացուցիչ և Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպությունում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետի անձնական ներկայացուցիչ, դիվանագետ Քրիստիան Միշել Տեր-Ստեփանյանը, ով երկար տարիներ անձնվիրաբար մաս է կազմել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության դիվանագիտական ծառայության՝ իր անգնահատելի ավանդը ներդնելով միջազգային հարթակներում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ներկայացման և առաջնահերթությունների առաջմղման գործում: Այս մասին տեղեկանում ենք ՀՀ ԱԳՆ-ից։
Քրիստիան Տեր-Ստեփանյանն իր երկարամյա ծառայության ընթացքում պարգևատրվել է բազում շնորհակալագրերով, հուշամեդալներով, շքանշաններով. ծառայողական պարտականությունները լավագույնս կատարելու համար պարգևատրվել է Պլեյադի՝ Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի և մշակույթների երկխոսության հրամանատարի շքանշանով, ՀՀ «Մխիթար Գոշ» շքանշանով և այլն:
Խորին ցավակցությունն ենք հայտնում պարոն Տեր-Ստեփանյանի ընտանիքի անդամներին, հարազատներին և բոլոր նրանց, ովքեր սգում են նրա կորուստը։ Փորձառու դիվանագետի, գործընկերների հարգանքը և հարազատների սերը վայելող Քրիստիան Տեր-Ստեփանյանի հիշատակը վառ կմնա բոլորիս հիշողություններում։
Քրիստիան Տեր-Ստեփանյանը ծնվել է 1951թ. Ֆրանսիայում: Սովորել է Փարիզի VII համալսարանում, բանասիրության և պատմության ֆակուլտետում:

1993-1996թթ.՝ Եվրոպական միությունում ՀՀ ներկայացուցչության խորհրդական, այնուհետև՝ արտակարգ դեսպանորդ և լիազոր նախարար
1996-1998թթ․՝ Ֆրանսիայում ՀՀ դեսպանության արտակարգ դեսպանորդ և լիազոր նախարար, իսկ 1998-1999թթ. Ֆրանսիայում ՀՀ գործերի ժամանակավոր հավատարմատար
1999-2008թթ.՝ Եվրոպայի խորհրդում ՀՀ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ
2008-2013թթ․՝ ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարարի խորհրդական՝ ֆրանկոֆոնիայի հարցերով
2013-2019թթ.՝ Ֆրանկոֆոնիայի միջազգային կազմակերպությունում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ներկայացուցիչ
