Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանը հինգշաբթի կքննարկի Շվեդիայի առաջարկը ՆԱՏՕ-ին անդամակցության մասին, նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանն սպասում է նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի երկար սպասված հրավերին, գրել է Al-Monitor-ը։

Էրդողանը նախաձեռնել է օրենսդրական գործընթաց անցած ամիս՝ խորհրդարան ներկայացնելով Շվեդիայի անդամակցության մասին արձանագրություններն այն բանից հետո, երբ ավելի քան մեկ տարի առարկում էր դրա դեմ, քանի որ երկիրը թույլ է տալիս այն անձանց գործունեությունը, որոնց Անկարան ահաբեկիչ է համարում։

Քննարկումները խորհրդարանում տեղի կունենան Էրդողանի այն հայտարարության ֆոնին, որ նա ցանկանում է հանդիպել Բայդենին Վաշինգտոնում։ Էրդողանը Բլինքենի Անկարա կատարած այցից հետո (նոյեմբերի 5-ին) հայտարարել է. «Ես հավատում եմ, որ այս պահից Բայդենը մեզ կընդունի»։

Կարծիք կար, որ Անկարայի կողմից Շվեդիայի անդամակցության հարցի ձգձգումը կապված է Կոնգրեսի առարկությունների հետ F-16 ինքնաթիռների ձեռքբերման հարցում։ Թուրքիան փորձում էր օգտագործել վետոյի իր իրավունքը Շվեդիայի անդամակցության հարցում, որպեսզի հաղթահարի այդ առարկությունները։ Իսկ այժմ կարծիք կա, որ ինչ-որ գործարք է կնքվել, Al-Monitor-ին տեղեկացրել են քննարկումների ընթացքին ծանոթ աղբյուրները։

Բայդենը ԱՄՆ առաջին նախագահն է, որը չի այցելել Թուրքիա եւ չի ընդունել Թուրքիայի նախագահին Սպիտակ տանը։ Էրդողանը հավանություն է տվել Շվեդիայի անդամակցությանը հուլիսին Վիլնյուսի գագաթաժողովի շրջանակում։

Բայց հոկտեմբերին լարվածությունը Վաշինգտոնի եւ Անկարայի միջեւ էլ ավելի սրվեց այն բանից հետո, երբ Թուրքիան լայնածավալ օդային հարձակում կատարեց Սիրիայում քրդական ապստամբների դեմ՝ ի պատասխան երկրի մայրաքաղաքում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչության։

Հոկտեմբերի 5-ին Միացյալ Նահանգները խփեց թուրքական լրտեսական անօդաչուն Սիրիայի հյուսիսում։

Էրդողանը վերջին ամիսներին ԱՄՆ-ին մեղադրել է հակամարտության հրահրման մեջ՝ մերձավորարեւելյան տարածաշրջան ավիակիրներ ուղարկելով։

Էրդողանն անցած ամիս ՀԱՄԱՍ-ն անվանել է «ազատարար» կազմակերպություն եւ հարձակումներ է կատարել Իսրայելի դեմ՝ հայտարարելով, որ նրա գործողությունները Գազայի հատվածում հավասարվում են «ցեղասպանության»։

Թուրքիան ակնկալում է հավանություն F-16-երի հարցում

Վերլուծաբանները կարծում են, որ  Անկարան սպասում է ինչ-որ առաջընթացի Ամերիկայի կողմից F-16-երի հայտի հարցում։

Քարնեգի ֆոնդի ավագ գիտաշխատող եւ Թուրքիայի նախկին դեսպան Ալփեր Ջոշքունի խոսքով՝ այս քայլը նշում է, որ Թուրքիան ձգտում է համոզել ամերիկյան կողմին, որ վճռական է Շվեդիայի անդամակցության հարցում։

Բրուքինգի ինստիտուտի ավագ գիտաշխատող Քեմալ Քիրիշին հիշեցրել է դրական հաղորդումների մասին Բայդենի վարչակազմի կողմից։

«Ես կարծում եմ, որ Բայդենը, հավանաբար, կօգտագործի իր ազդեցությունը դեմոկրատների վրա այս հարցում»,- ասել է Քիրիշին։ «Երկու կողմերի միջեւ արդեն գոյություն ունի խոր անվստահություն։ Նրանք տարակարծիք են բոլոր հարցերի վերաբերյալ»,- ավելացրել է նա։
