Նոյեմբերի 15-ին Բյուսելում ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի նախագահ Ռոբերտա Մեցոլայի հետ:
Ի շարունակություն հոկտեմբերին ՀՀ վարչապետի հետ քննարկման՝ Արարատ Միրզոյանը և Ռոբերտա Մեցոլան մտքեր են փոխանակել ՀՀ-ԵՄ համապարփակ գործընկերության օրակարգի հիմնական ուղղությունների, դրա խորացմանն ուղղված համատեղ ջանքերի շուրջ:
Երկուստեք պատրաստակամություն է արտահայտվել նախաձեռնել լրացուցիչ քայլեր՝ Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի և ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովի միջև փոխգործակցության ընդլայնման ուղղությամբ։
Բարձր գնահատելով մինչ օրս ՀՀ համար առավել կարևորություն ներկայացնող հարցերում Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի կողմից արտահայտված սկզբունքային դիրքորոշումը, ընդունված բանաձևերը՝ նախարար Միրզոյանն ընդգծել է Հայաստանում ժողովրդավարությանը շարունակական ամուր աջակցության, տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության հաստատման իրական ջանքերին սատարելու կարևորությունը։ Անդրադառնալով այդ ուղղությամբ ՀՀ մոտեցումներին՝ նախարար Միրզոյանը շեշտել է, որ միջազգային գործընկերների կողմից գործուն ներգրավվածության, հոկտեմբերին Գրանադայում ընդունված հայտարարությամբ վերահաստատված սկզբունքներին Ադրբեջանի հանձնառության պարագայում հնարավոր կլինի տարածաշրջանում հասնել խաղաղության։ Կարևորվել է ուժի կամ ուժի սպառնալիքի բացառման և այնպիսի ծրագրերի կյանքի կոչումը, ինչպիսին է ՀՀ կառավարության կողմից ներկայացված «Խաղաղության խաչմերուկը»։
Արարատ Միրզոյանը Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի նախագահին ներկայացրել է Ադրբեջանի կողմից 10 ամիս շարունակված շրջափակման և սեպտեմբերի 19-ի ռազմական հարձակման հետևանքով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղից բռնի տեղահանված ու Հայաստանում ապաստանած 100 հազարից ավել փախստականների առանջային կարիքների և իրավունքների հասցեագրմանն ուղղված քայլերը։
