2018 թվականի իշխանափոխությունից հետո, երբ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի հետ իշխանության եկան ոչ կոմպետենտ և չտես զանգվածները, ակնհայտ էր, որ կարճ ժամանակահատվածում նրանք, այսպես կոչված «հաբրգելու» են, ընդ որում Փաշինյանն ինքն էլ խթանում է իր կողմնակիցների լկտիացման գործընթացը՝ պատժելով միայն ընդդիմախոսներին, կամ նախկին կուսակիցներին, որոնց ինքը հրաժեշտ է տվել ինչ-ինչ հանգամանքներից ելնելով։

Օրեր առաջ դատարանը Տիգրան Ուլիխանյանին դատապարտել է տուգանքի 700 հազար դրամի չափով, բանն այն է, որ Ուլիխանյանը սահմանված կարգով զրկված լինելով տրանսպորտային միջոցներ վարելու իրավունքից, մեքենա է վարել, նրան բռնել են, գործն ուղարկել դատարան, և կարճ ժամանակամիջոցում դատարանը նման վճիռ է կայացրել։ Իհարկե այս հոդվածն ազատազրկում չի նախատեսում, այլապես Ուլիխանյանը կարող էր նաև տևական ժամանակ անց կացնել ճաղերի ետևում։ Նա հեղափոխությունից հետո ՊՎԾ պետի տեղակալ դարձավ, ապա՝ պատգամավոր, որոշ ժամանակ էլ աշխատեց Պետական վերահսկողական ծառայության պետի պաշտոնում։ Հեռացվեց առանց որևէ հիմնավորման և առանց որևէ պատճառաբանության, իսկ դրանից հետո երբեմն-երբեմն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում խայթում էր Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, հայտարարել էր նաև ՔՊ–ն լքելու մտադրության մասին։

Ուլիխանյանի հետ կատարվածը Փաշինյանի կողմից նախազգուշացում էր իր գործող կողմնակիցների համար, որոնք ևս կարող են հայտնվել հետապնդյալի ու «իզգոյի» դերում, ոչ միայն կտուգանվեն, այլ ավելի ծանր պատիժների կարժանանան, եթե հանկարծ իրենց մտքով նման բան անցնի։ Սա թերևս նաև լավ դաս է հենց ՔՊ-ականների համար՝ հասկանալու, որ Փաշինյանը որևէ կողմնակցի մտադիր չէ ներել։

Փաշինյանը չի պատժում հանցագործությունների, պետական բյուջեն թալանելու համար, այլ պատժում է միայն իր դեմ խոոսելու և իր դեմ աշխատելու համար։
