«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Եվ ուրեմն, մի քանի օր առաջ Հայաստանի ոստիկանությունը բերման է ենթարկել Ուելսի ֆուտբոլի հավաքականի 32 երկրպագուի: Ձերբակալության փաստը նաև միջազգային լրատվամիջոցներում էր տեղ գտել, ուելսցիներն էլ դժգոհել էին Հայաստանի ոստիկանությունից: Այն, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ոստիկանությունը «բեսպրեդելի» ունակ է, նորություն չէ ու չի էլ քննարկվում. դե, եթե ընդդիմադիրների նկատմամբ անհամաչափ ուժ են կիրառում, հետո ոչ միայն անպատիժ մնում, այլև նույնիսկ տուժածին մեղավոր կարգում, պարզ է, որ այդ ամենի թիրախում կարող են հայտնվել բոլորը: Բայց... Ամենազարմանալին մեր հանրության մի զգալի հատվածի սուր արձագանքն էր՝ վա՜յ, ամա՜ն, խայտառակ եղանք աշխարհով մեկ: Չէ, լո՞ւրջ...
Ուրեմն, խայտառակ պարտության տարած, հազարավոր զոհերի պատճառ դարձած, հող հանձնած իշխանությունը 2021 թվականին նորից ընտրվում է, խայտառակ չենք եղել, հիմա խայտառակ եղա՞նք: Ժողովրդավարության հնարավոր ու անհնար բոլոր նորմերը ոտնահարվում են, իրավապահ գործիքակազմը դարձել է քաղաքական պայքարի հիմնական ատրիբուտը, խայտառակ չենք լինում, բայց որ խուլիգանության համար օտարերկրացի երկրպագուներ են բերման ենթարկվել, խայտառակ եղա՞նք: Իսկ որ ուելսցի երկրպագուներն իրենց, մեղմ ասած, շատ վատ են պահել, նրանցից ոմանք էլ հարբած են եղել, ոչ միայն ոստիկանության հաղորդագրությունն է վկայում, այլև շատերն են տեսել:
Ավելին, մեր լրագրողն է ականատես եղել, թե նաև Հայաստան-Ուելս խաղից հետո ինչ խայտառակ պահվածք են դրսևորել, ինչպիսի վիճակում են եղել նրանցից ոմանք: Կրկնում ենք՝ բոլորը չէ, բայց օրինակներն էլ քիչ չեն: Այստեղ ամենացավալին այն է, որ եթե հանկարծ որևէ երկրում մեր երկրպագուներին ձերբակալեին այն պատճառներով, ինչ ուելսցիներին են բերման ենթարկել մեր մոտ, եթե մեր երկրպագուները իրենց համարյա նման կերպ պահեին, մեր հանրության մեջ շատերն էլի ասելու էին՝ վա՜յ, ամա՜ն, աշխարհով մեկ խայտառակ եղանք: Իսկ այդ երկրի բնակիչները հազիվ թե վատ զգային, որ իրենց ոստիկանությունը ձերբակալել է կարգ խախտողներին: Մտքներով անգամ չէր անցնի, որ իրենք աշխարհով մեկ խայտառակ են եղել...
