Հայաստանը եղել և մնում է Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության դաշնակիցը: Այս մասին ՏԱՍՍ-ին ասել է ՀԱՊԿ գլխավոր քարտուղար Իմանղալի Թասմաղամբետովը։
«Իմ կարծիքով, այս իրավիճակից (ՀՀ-ի բացակայությունը Մինսկում ՀԱՊԿ գագաթնաժողովից-Խմբ.) կտրուկ եզրակացություններ անելն անիմաստ է, Հայաստանը եղել և մնում է մեր դաշնակիցը: Սրանով, կարծում եմ, ամեն ինչ ասված է: Որքանով հայտնի է ՀԱՊԿ քարտուղարությանը, հայկական պատվիրակության բացակայության պատճառները տեխնիկական բնույթ են կրել: Ամեն դեպքում, սա անկախ և ինքնիշխան պետության որոշումն է, որի վրա ոչ մի այլ պետություն կամ կազմակերպություն չի կարող ազդել: ՀԱՊԿ-ը հարգում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության որոշումը՝ որպես կազմակերպության լիիրավ անդամ»,- ասել է նա։
Նախօրեին Կրեմլի ներկայացուցիչ Դմիտրի Պեսկովը ասել էր, որ Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունը հուսով է, որ որոշ ժամանակ անց Հայաստանը կվերսկսի լիարժեք մասնակցությունը Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպության (ՀԱՊԿ) գործունեությանը:
